I had to fight with one of the employees about refunding an article that I hadn't use. She was telling me that she don't take it back because of the covid... RÃ©servation via le site... Pas clair du tout car il mentionnait que nous devions rapporter le camion au plus tard avant le lendemain et de mettre les clÃ©s dans la boite. Nous avons dÃ» remettre le camion pour 17:00. Une chance le propriÃ©taire nous a laissÃ© jusqua 6 mais ca nous a vraiment mit dans le pÃ©trin car nous avons fait qu'un voyage et demi au lieu de trois. Resultat nous avons dÃ» terminÃ© avec un pick up sur 3 jours. De plus, nous avons dÃ» retourner sur place pour payer le gaz car le commis etait trop occupÃ© pour s'occuper de nous alors comme nous ne le savions pas nous avons mit les clÃ©s dans la boite et somme partie. Le camion etait toujours present dans le stationnement le soir donc il est clair que nous aurions pÃ» terminer notre dÃ©mÃ©nagement. Tres decu. DerniÃ¨re location chez uhautLionel L.

Misleading publicity.... Says $19.95 per day plus mileage, but.... Does not mention all the rest... $18.00 for coverage.... I have my own car insurance, so I am already covered... And I am pretty sure that all your rentals, vehicules/trucks and trailers are also covered with insurances paid by your company... Sooooo, why am I paying YOUR insurance coverage? But That's not all, noooon mister! I also had to pays $0,69/km, which was indicated to me right from the start, and which I agreed to. HOWEVER, I ALSO had to pay for the gas I used. Now, this is where I feel cheated and where I get mad. I work in Montreal, but sometimes have to drive to our head office on Ottawa. If I use my personnal car, my employer pays me back somewhere between $0,50 and $0,56 per km. That covers my gas and car "wear and tear" . So, would someone please explain to me why, again, I am paying double fees????? So, starting at what your company promotes, an "exceptional low price of $19.95/day plus the mileage ended up costing a grand and magnificent total of $ 82,00, give and take a few cents. Oh! And the cherry on top.... The franchise I went to was completely booked that day, and the next Day as well. Sooooo, to be certain that I would bring back the vehicule before 7 pm, the owner added on my rental bill that it would cost me a $100.00 per 10 minutes, should I be late.... A $100.00 FREAKING BUCKS PER 10 MINUTES!!!!!! I needed that rental too much to refuse, so I had to sign beside the comment as a confirmation of agrement. SO NO, I will NOT recommand your business to anyone of my entourage. No way JosÃ©, never, as in never, ever. I almost forgot, when I brought the van back, the owner had left. A single employee was working alone, at a rush jour, 5:30 pm, and was running around like a headless chicken. He was trying to coordinate dealing with 4 rentals at the same time, taking care of an elderly customer there to check and replay his lottery, AND dealing with customers at the gas pump, since this franchise is also a gas station, with service. The poor guy did his best, but was clearly overwhelmed by the situation. When my turn finally came, he apologized for the delay. I told him to take his time and I was fully aware he was alone. He confided in me that he only had two days left working there and that he felt sorry for the young teenagers he had trained to replace him. This employee deserves an amazing recommandation, if you ask meBRIGITTE M.

I didn't get the 10' truck that I rented online. The location denied that they didn't have it. And when I arrived they did have it! They just simply didn't want to rent it. I was forced to drive a 15' truck due to the urgency I had! I didn't have enough stuff to fill up a bigger truck! Also Uhaul rescheduled my reservation 2 days before and sent me to this location.
