Safety lights by man gate. A lock on the man gate that works. Staff that are not rude and condescending.

The yard where the trucks was icy and slippery, some sand thrown about would’ve been safer.

Tell them the right vehicle to begin with they sent me to the wrong van with the keys went work then I phoned them and they said oh it might be the van in the back over here . I had people waiting on me then I ran to the back and found the right 1 on my own that's all that went wrong though other than that it was all good...

My only complaint was the lack of hands free Bluetooth(SYNC) in the vehicle. I put more mileage on than anticipated but the final bill was less than quoted, so very reasonable. The truck got great gas mileage pulling a car hauler and the trailer was easy to use and both were in excellent condition.

Absolutely fantastic guys there. Had a few laughs. This will be my go to for yhaul and I will spread the word!! Thanks guys!!

The truck smelled like cow manure, the tires were low on air and they put the wrong amount of of fuel on the log (showing more that what was in the tank). The office is dirty and messy and the men weren't very friendly. I would not recommend this location. They obviously don't clean and maintain their trucks, and their people skills/customer serve are awful.

Would have been nice to have been warned about the $20 charge for not verifying return on the app. That sucks I have to say.

Being straight forward on the online booking I have been charged almost double to rent a trailer that I need only for about 8 hours they said because I was using the trailer out of town. Since when u-haul charge by kilometers to rent a trailer?? I am not happy with the charge

At time of online booking, I specified a particular drop off location that was close to where we moving. When I picked up the truck in Red Deer I confirmed again that this drop off point was OK. The attendant said there should be no problem. When I arrived at the drop location later in the day I was advised that I could not leave the vehicle there, it had to be dropped off all the way across town. After confirming drop off location twice then receiving this news made me very angry. Not knowing the city of Calgary made the process of finding the drop off point very stressful. After reaching our final destination the attendant greeted me very professionally and apologized for the inconvenience we had experienced. The drop off process added an hour to our already long and tiring day. To avoid additional stress and anxiety I would call central dispatch before finalizing booking to make sure the drop off point you have chosen receives units.

When I filled out the online, reservation, i requested no insurance coverage, I was kinda rushed and distracted by the employees when given the contract to sign and did not notice there was the coverage charge on there. Upon looking at the paper at home, I seen I was being charged the coverage, I called the representative and asked them of it could be taken off, he said no that it was a auto generated request he cpuldnt change, but I know for a fact that I denied that coverage on the reservation request

Maybe let the customer know that you're not opening until 10:00 a.m. when I asked for and received a booking for 9:00 a.m. I clarified when booking that even though it was a holiday Monday I would still be able to rent a truck. When U-Haul phoned to confirm my booking they left a message saying it would be for noon. I promptly phoned them back to say that I needed the truck for 9:00 a.m. and they said they would change it. I received a confirmation that my truck would be ready for 9:00 a.m. and double-checked that on Sunday. However when I went to collect the truck the establishment was closed and no recording was left on the phone number explaining what the deal was. I spent 15 minutes on the 1-800 number with U-Haul to find out what was up. I then had to wait until 10:00 a.m. to get the truck. By the time the paper work was done the time was 10:20. No offers of a discount or anything. I had my four sons lined up to do some moving. Two of them needed to leave town by noon and another one had to work at 4:00 p.m. Poor to say the least.

The people working there were awesome. They had technical issue on Saturday but did the best they could. Just wish when a cash deposit is made that you get cash back when dropping off the unit but instead have to wait for 3 weeks for a cheque

I booked a Tandem trailer one week in advance to go from Red Deer Alberta To Dawson Creek B.C.Drove 8 hours to get there to have them tell me they don't have any trailers available and only had the in town trailers. Also the Women I booked with by phone told me it would cost around $120.00 and could pick it up before 4;00 pm and when I got to there office they now tell me its $620.00 and said that's because there's a shortage of trailers like that's my fault or something. The women who booked me a trailer dose not have a clue but did secure me a master order number #97501311.So after a few choice words in there Red Deer outlet they told me they would track down a trailer for me to haul my collector car to Dawson Creek. So I waited around while they made calls and then told me they found one,Charged me the over inflated amount and Then had me drive around back where they had not one but two trailers just sitting there. They had me back up to the trailer hook everything up and check lights and chains and then said Gee I'm sorry this is the wrong trailer could I unhook and move over down the line to another trailer instead. So we unhooked the first trailer and moved down the yard to another trailer. After all was said and done I had heard some yard guy say that check in time was 3;00 pm And late fees would be about $20.00.Thinking that we had to get going cause there's a time limit on rentals away we went arriving in Dawson Creek at 5;00 pm the next day.So we were expecting late fee charge but when I went inside to ask where to put the trailer the person behind the desk says " man your early" I said no were late and he says the trailer was not due back for three days.Well,Ain't that something and here we rushed all the way back in 9 Hours. After all is said and done it would have been cheaper for me to drag my own trailer done to Red Deer than it was to rent one from U-HAUL.And this Jeanette that took my order dose not have a clue,I guess she was to busy trying to be funny on the phone. But now after arriving Home in Dawson Creek and reading the contract closer I now see that we had three full days and did not have to Rush like we did.All this occurred because Jeanette at one office on 67th Street took the order but then send us to the second outlet for the trailer at 61st street. All in all it was not a pleasant experience.I don't usually use choice words like I did in that office but it was some what upsetting after driving 8 hours to get there on time before 4;00 pm and that was Alberta time which is one hour ahead of B.C. time. The Man who was ahead of me in there office at that time had a similar problem with them and left there made as hell.So in answer to any comments-No,I would not recommend those two outlets
