There was a bit of confusion but the owner worked tirelessly sorting it all out. He went above and beyond to make the rental happen.
Ryan C.Location was to open at 0800, and I arrived at 0815 to return the trailer. No one there. Waited a while, the called the assistance number on the rental paper. They called the owner who said someone would be right over. They never showed up. Eventually the person on the assistance line said that if I could unhook it myself and take a picture, that would be OK. I finished the call, and since no one had arrived yet, I unhooked, took a picture and left. It was around 0900 by then. I also noted that when I was pulling the empty trailer, it still dropped my fuel mileage by around 4 mpg. Seems excessive! There were no problems with the trailer while we were actually on the road except that it pulled pretty hard.
