We had to pick up the trailer in Caldwell (30 minutes away) rather than in Boise (3 minutes away) because the trailer had been dropped off by the previous customer at the wrong location. Fortunately, this did not cause any major setback but it would have been nice to pick up the trailer in the planned location.REBECCA KRISTINE H.
The truck had a few scrapes and such, but really in good shape otherwise. We did have to go to another location to pick up the furniture cloths, and they had NOT been cleaned since the last use. In COVID times especially, sanitizing those would really show customer service to be appreciated.WILLIAM F.

I want to share that I was supposed to drop the truck off in Shelton WA off of HWY 3, but the person was so rude and nasty Uhaul actually had to change my location. I was also charged extra miles to go to another location. This place was helpful, I am not sure you will read this but HWY 3 location that lady is so rude and nasty I was treated horribly.Marney G.

First time EVER!!! Booked the trailer with customer service and was told the facility opened at 5:00 am. I roll in at 7:00am and I'm sent away because they don't have UHAUL staff until 8:00am. Come back, only trailer on the lot. Never seen that before. Hook up the trailer (1st Class customer service at this location) test the lights and no turn signals or break lights on the right side. Customer service rep tried new wiring harness, failed. I had no choice but to take the trailer (only one on the lot) and off I go. NEVER EVER happened before with UHaul. Always the best equipment, always. Then the kicker. I drop off the equipment at a neighborhood UHaul and the staff cracked the door and told me to park the trailer next to another trailer. To interaction, no assistance, no unhook, NOTHING!!! WEIRD RIGHT! Never before have I had to park, unhook and inspect a rental with UHaul before. It had to be solar flairs or let's just use the BS reason â€œCOVIDâ€. I'm a loyal UHaul client. Just VENTING. They asked for my opinion and sent me a survey. Be careful what you ask for.JOHN R.
Personnel were very nice. Process was quick and easy as I had reserved online. My only complaint is the truck fuel gauge was on 1/4 and paperwork reflected that. I refilled tank to just above the 1/4 line but was apparently charged for additional gas because I received a notice of additional charge on my card.SHARON ANN B.

The online system is not working properly. When I brought the truck back, the online system told me the odometer reading was lower than when I took the truck. I ended up calling and talking with a representative. She assured me that she was able to fix the problem. I sent her photos of the odometer setting and the gas gauge, which was on FULL. However, when I checked my bank statement the next day, I had been charged over $500, in addition to the original almost $50, for a one-day rental. I downloaded my ending contract. Not only was a charged to fill an already-full gas tank, but the odometer reading showed over 300 extra miles! When I called, I was told I would not be charged for the gas (although they might still charge the fee for filling the tank), but I would still be charged for 300 miles I DID NOT drive! Now, I'm told that this will be "referred back to the local manager". Good customer service should have started with refunding the extra money immediately, since the issue is with their faulty system.Laurie O.

It was not well lit and without the one other UHaul parked there, there's no way I would have known I was in the right spot. There was a sign but since the gate was locked I wouldn't have known that I could park the truck outside the gate. The website return was clunky and prompted me to pay additional fees even though no one told me there would be more fees charged. Overall experience with UHaul was mediocre. Truck was safe, drove well, and fueled up, which was a positive.Nicole H.

Terrible experience. If I ever need a UHaul again I'll make sure it's a corporate store and not an affiliate. First off the keys were not available at time of pick up and the business was closed for the holiday. Combination lock boxes were available but were unlocked and had no keys inside. The vehicle was left unlocked and no keys inside it. After calling UHaul directly and finding out another vehicle was possibly available, though uncertain, I checked the return box and found the keys were in the return box. We were able to salvage the day by retrieving the keys from the locked return box with a bent piece of wire found on the ground. Once in the vehicle I found it was nearly empty on fuel and there were dried bits of food in the cup holders. After returning the vehicle later I realized I had forgotten my gate opener. I called the business the next day and asked them to check, the clerk stated he checked and did not find it. I then went to the business, found the truck was unlocked and the opener was in plain sight as you opened the door. All around a very poor experience. Again use a corporate store for your rental.Paul G.
