Rent adapters for electrical connections instead of selling them. I had to buy an adapter to accept the smaller connector on the trailer

No masks--dirty old auto garage. Rude people. When I returned the trailer he told me to put it in a spot. I said there was no room to turn around and he said U haul means you haul. He eventually disconnected the trailer and walked away. What a jerk.

I believe the place was closed.... it was Sunday. I left the trailer in a space out front but it wast so clear where it should be left and there was no stand for the trailer to sit on.

After completing the paperwork for the pick-up, the attendant simply handed over the key and said everything is all set. When I mentioned there are scratches on the truck after a brief visual inspection, he seemed irritated and grudgingly came out to look at the scratches and said to just upload some pictures.. When I got home and tried to upload the pictures, the link had expired and would not let me upload them. By this time the rental office was closed for the weekend. The truck interior was sticky and was evident it had not been wiped or sanitized so I had to clean and sanitize it given the current COVID-19 concerns. Overall this was not a pleasant pick-up experience.

I was unable to use my portable phone charger, it works fine in my cigarette liter but neither of the trucks liters would function to charge the phone. Highly unsatisfactory when needing to view mapquest.

The trailer was great, the location is not the normal rental spot for me, they are professional, not rude, but not very outgoing, maybe due to being late in the day. You can count on them to get you in and on the road.

I was finished with the vehicle on December 23rd which was multiple days ahead of the due date which was by 9:00 AM on December 26th. I called ahead to their phone number of 248-380-6290 and I was told they were open until 5:00. I immediately drove there to drop it off. When I arrived right around 4:45 I was told by two people in the office that the U-haul portion was already closed. I asked if someone could park the vehicle and they just pointed to a spot with cement strips on lawn out front. No help getting it parked. I called the number again and I believe I got routed to the corporate help desk who indicated the location either closed at 4:45 or may not have even been open that day, but they did indicate (over the phone) they would mark it as returned on December 23rd and note the time. Then on the 26th I get a bill showing the return date as the morning of the 26th and a charge for gas of $28 marking the level on the fuel gauge as below half when it was clearly slightly above half when I dropped it off. I will not be using this location again.

The people at Phils 76 Service were amazing! They made the whole rental process easy! They are the friendliest, most caring, and professional group of people I have met in the Northville service industry! What a great find in a car service as well as rental place! I will use them many times more!
