The parking location was surprising. There was minimal signage, and so it felt like I was I the wrong place until I drove up the road a bit to find the vehicles. The only way to get the truck out of its location was to accelerate up a sizable curb, as they were in a tree lawn surrounded by sidewalk with no ramp. Additionally, the apps UI made it difficult to flow through the virtual process and was failing to register my location. I'd recommend using the web browser version, such as through chrome, instead as this worked much better. On a positive note, the truck was well maintained and clean, and even had a backup camera which was useful.

Let the customer know that they have to go to the office of apartment complex to get checked in. Have someone available who knows how to check the customer in.

Ken PTHE WHOLE RETURN “EXPERIENCE” TOTALLY SUCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!! The pickup representative was above and beyond helpful with the rental, and the only issue with the truck was that you would need to be 6’6” tall to be able to step up into the truck, unfortunately I’m only 5’5”!!! The trucks I had rented in the past had a step below the door frame to assist in stepping up into the truck, this one did not. As for the return, you charged me for 4 miles over that I drove just trying to find the ghetto dump where you wanted me to return the truck!!! (I don’t understand how I was even over since the lady who initially made my reservation told me she was giving me extra miles because of the location where I had to pickup the truck!!!). There are numerous U-haul facilities in the return area, and yet you chose this one to send me to!!! The street address you sent me to is an apartment building on a street with nowhere to park a truck, and NOTHING U-haul related!!! A person hanging out on the street nearby told me that sometimes there were U-haul trucks parked behind the complex in the far corner of the parking lot, nowhere near the address I was sent to!!! So I kept driving and finally happened across the U-haul “facility”!!! It consisted of a U-haul sign laying on the ground and unreadable, and a jacked up nonsecure dropbox hanging on a post. The box was partially pulled apart to where anyone could reach in and remove anything that was in it!!! All the grass areas around the parking spaces and dropbox had piles of dogshit where evidently everyone in the neighborhood walked their dogs to where you had to watch to avoid the shitpiles when taking the return photos and dropping off the key!!! I’m certainly glad that my daughter and granddaughter weren’t with me while dropping the truck off in this neighborhood and in these conditions! I especially wouldn’t want anyone I cared about to have to go to that location after dark!!! Does anyone with U-haul actually ever check out these “U-haul facilities” that you’re sending customers to, or does just no one there care whatsoever about where they are sending people??????!!!!!!!! Also, btw, one of your people I spoke with on the phone yesterday responded that it would be fine for me to just use Penske the next time I need to rent a truck, so I certainly now know just how important my business is to your company!!!!!!!!!!‼️
Roger TThe location was not clear. There was no network connection to go through the process in the location. It took more than 45 minutes for me to go through the mobile process.
