The representative said that my bill was complete, but the next day I got another charge. You should explain what the other charge is or not say that the bill is complete. Also, your software is lengthy & doing anything takes a long time to process. You have to stand & wait for the rep to process software that is slow!

I had to have Ford redo my electrical wires that were installed because my reverse light wire was cut and also I had no brake lights and was told that my 1 burned out bulb powered all 5 of my brake lights which it does not. The mechanic there is incompetent and needs to be retrained. I have requested a refund for the rewiring done by Ford. I was told that I was the 4th person that had to have their wiring redone from U-Haul messing it up. I have yet to hear from anyone and it's been 2 weeks since I had this done.

I was required to fill up gas tank on truck upon return because gas gauge was FAULTY and appeared to indicate slightly below "FULL" when I took truck out. The employee confirmed that I had driven ONLY 7 MILES. When I informed employee that guage was faulty he did not care. So I returned to gas station and "topped off" tank, having to place almost 4 gallons of gas in truck for driving 7 miles. I GOT CHEATED BY U-HAUL FOR UNKNOWINGLY RENTING A TRUCK WITH A FAULTY GUAGE. If I wasn't such an honest person I wouldn't be so upset by being taken advantage of.



They were relatively short-staffed for about 20 minutes before the Manager came out to help, and then the line started moving quickly.

I picked up the trailer on 9/3 ~ 2:45 PM. I dropped it off on 9/3 (same day) ~ 9:00 PM. I was met by an irate employee yelling at me not to park in the same spot I got the trailer in. Then he said he was off the clock. He really upset me. I had to turn around and park it in a much tighter spot. On 9/3 I tried to do the return on line but it would not work. The morning of 9/4 I called and did the return by speaking with someone at the call center. On 9/5 I rec'd a bill for 2 days rental for ~ $60 when it was only ~8 hours rental (should have been ~ $30). Today I had to call and spend 15 minutes of my time getting my $30 overcharge money back-refunds take 4-5 business days but charges take 4-5 minutes. I think you should have just waived the entire charge based on my experience. Yet here I am again, spending even more of my time giving you a poor rating even though I have a gut feeling that nobody even cares, especially your top management / owner of u-haul. At least I got to blow off steam and hopefully make you laugh about this situation. In closing, on my death bed as I am taking my very last breath of air, I will remember this experience with u-haul and I will wish that I had this 1/2 hour of my life back.

The trailer I ordered was not there for the time I ordered it. The communication with UHaul to rent a trailer and get a tow hitch ASAP was some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced. I would have used this company and location on a regular basis for my business needs but my first experience was atrocious and I will not be a repeat customer unless I exhaust all other options. Returning the rental also took about 30 minutes and should have been a much faster drop off process. Very inconvenient.

I had reserved a truck to be picked up in Hudson. I stopped by the Hudson location on Wednesday to assure that there would be no problems and was told, "There is the truck you will be taking." When I arrived at the prescribed time, no one was there. The truck was there but there was no way to get the keys. I called the Hudson number and the Pheasant Lane facility repeatedly, but there was no answer for about an hour. Finally, someone answered, and I was told, "The store in Hudson is closed so you have to come here. When I got to the Pheasant Lane facility I was told, perhaps in jest, "We don't have anything for you." The person who was trying to help me cancelled what he entered and restarted twice, telling me, "I hate computers, and they hate me." I was 90 minutes late and a total of 5 people at 3 locations had to wait for me.

Upon pickup day we were delayed about 50 minutes. Received a call from Uhaul saying if we didn’t get there immediately they were canceling our order. Had truck for two weeks with intermittent AC problem in hot weather. Upon return again we were running 45 minutes behind schedule. Again got a call from Uhaul telling me if I didn’t get the truck back by 12 noon I would be charged. Got there at 11:45 AM, got a confusing run around at customer service desk. Guy in yard took his time, was unfriendly, and a bit sarcastic saying: “what do you want, a receipt?” I said that would be nice! Went back inside and he could not figure out the charges, and at first was screwing us by charging the wrong amount. Finally after 20 minutes a second agent stepped in... she insisted on charging us on top of the two week rental 8/14 to 8/28 another full day rate rental and insurance, $90 dollars extra for the extra 30 minutes! Total rip off!!! Totally stuck it to the customer!! Left fuming after paying well over $800!!! I will never go to Uhaul again based on the crappy treatment we received!! Your company should train their employees to give the customer the option to pay there final bill before they leave. I rented a van for less than two hours. When I turned it in the employee took my key and said you can go. I asked about my final bill. His response was that I would get it within 2 minutes after leaving. Since I was paying via my credit card it was all set. It turned out I had to follow up multiple times that day to inquire on my final bill. They ended up sending me a wrong invoice that had my information on it. There information showed I had another rental and the final bill was significantly higher than was expected. Fortunately, I used my phone to photograph the dashboard to show mileage when I dropped off and I photographed the van while at the gas pump to demonstrate I put gas in it. My advise to anyone renting from U-haul should stay and insist in getting a final bill on the spot. Pay it and be done. The inconvience and frustrations I experinced as a customer was uncalled for!

I would only recommend the location because they have a fair quantity of equipment. The pickup went smoother than the return. Customer Service at return was greatly lacking. A 30 minutes wait to return equipment with no sign of any team members inside the building to help the growing line of customers is unacceptable. Also since trailers are not to be returned at the equipment return stop, a sign should be in place directing customers where to drop off trailers. Regular customer parking should also be restricted to the actual parking lot rather than allowed in a path that obstructs trailer return. The addition of rental storage units out front has created a traffic flow nightmare that should never have been created.
