They were great! Moving sucks!

If you are going to provide an estimate, I feel you should also list any extra fees, such as a "rental tax" tacked on after the uhaul was rented. Feels really shady anything outside of sales tax. Should be part of the rental price quote.

The people at the store both during check out and return were very friendly, helpful and made sure that I had everything I needed. I would highly recommend, and would use again, this location for their EXCELLENT customer service. Thank You

Let you keep the truck the full 24hours as advertised and originally promised.

We arranged a one day service and were charged for two days. Had the truck back within 24 hours. The person helping us did not speak English very well. It took us over an hour to book this truck!

At arrival to turn in the rental truck, the employee who assisted me was not only rude, but he denied the fact that I had mistakenly left a $132.00 pair of Ray-Ban sun glasses in the cab when I went back to collect after About ½ hour or so.

the first truck that they gave me there was something wrong with the breaks and the personal knew it about this but they still gave it to me. they didn't even bother to you and check it with me when they hand the key.

I was charged for pads and a dolly that I never ordered and the agent couldn't figure out how to refund my money. Then I received an email from U-Haul asking for a review. The email offered an addy to write to if you wanted to speak with someone, so I wrote an email. Unfortunately, it's an invalid email address, I'm not happy and want my money back please.

Very pleasant experience. One person operation. Very busy since this a market also.

Took over 30 minutes to process my online reservation, which should have cut my wait time in half, according to the U-Haul site. After 30 minutes it was still not done, and the price was all wrong (equipment rental I did not select, price per mile higher, etc). The gal said this happens every time with online bookings, and I should just rent on-site (was very irritated that she didn't say that to start with and save me 30 minutes). That process took another 15 minutes.

I had a very friendly, neighborhood type experience here - much more relaxing than at any of the dozens of other place I have used in the western USA. They are the best bet for anyone living nearby.

The location is great and the staff is wonderful. Your policies, however, are deceitful and very upsetting. You do not post your mileage charges. They seem to have gone up considerably from the last time I used your service. I was appalled at the final bill--and I only moved things in the Bay Area. Shocking difference between the ad on the side of the truck and reality. This was all the more galling because we rented the truck to empty a UBox that had been run all over the country for no reason. We had been trying to settle the amount due and empty the box for months, but no-one could locate the box, it was very difficult to get anyone at an actual location to answer the phone. All in all it was a terrible experience with the parent company.

This location should lose their license to rent uhaul trailers.. Look up my file and the accident report that I filed. Feel free to call me for more feedback.

Always a pleasure dealing with the folks at Coastside.

the teller would rather tend to the customers buying groceries, than the person renting a truck. Seems to me that he should finish with the uhaul customer and then then tend to the grocery store customers or have a dedicated cashier.

Good morning, I am writing this email to ask for your help. I would like to start of this email by saying I am a repeat U-Haul customer. I began my U-Haul relationship in 1993 when I rented a moving truck to help me move into my first home. Over the years I have rented moving trucks and auto transports when the need arises; always from U-Haul and always a great experience. Your equipment and service has never left me unhappy, until now. Long story short, on Thursday July 21st, I loaned my Toyota pickup to my brother-in-law so he could haul some stuff up to Redding California, he is an idiot, got a DUI that night and my truck got impounded. On Friday, July 22nd I decided to let him rot in jail, but I needed to get my truck out of impound. Now is where U-haul comes to the rescue. I chose to rent a Tow Dolly, take it the 266 miles North with my full size truck, pay to get my Toyota free and dolly it home. My preferred U-haul is on Bayshore Ave in San Francisco, they are always friendly, have a huge on hand inventory and are very helpful at getting me down the road safely. The very nice person I spoke to on the phone at Bayshore was extremely apologetic when she found out their tow dollies were all rented out and said someone from U-haul would attempt to find one locally and call me back. I got a call shortly after and was advised that Coast Side Market in Moss Beach had a dolly and I could pick it up from there, but I would have to return it to that same location. I live in Daly City, Work in San Francisco and Moss Beach is 15+ miles in the opposite direction of where I live and where I needed to drive. San Francisco would have been ideal because it was on my way out of town, in my path of travel on the way home and just a few miles from where I would drop the Toyota. I needed to get this truck home before it sat in impound any longer racking up storage charges so I stuck with U-haul. I arrived at Coast Side Market where the nice lady behind the counter took my drivers license and credit card and began printing out my contract. She was working alone and as customers began to show up to the register, she asked if she could help them out first and I agreed. Apparently this is a popular liquor store on a Friday because at least a dozen customers were helped before she was able to get back to me. Finally, I was told the dolly was out back handed the paperwork and she went back to customers. I drove out to the back of the store and waited for no less than ten minutes for help, which never came. Walking back into the store I was told I had to help myself as nobody was there to watch the store. I had to move equipment and the store's crates and garbage cans in order to have enough room to get my full size truck aligned with the dolly I had rented. Their back parking lot is narrow, an up-slope and that dolly was heavy, so simply pulling it over to my truck was not an option. I had never rented a dolly so I felt I needed to r
