Absolutely horrible pick up experience. It wasn't well signed as a U-Haul location (because it's not, it's a flooring store). No one was there, I waited for 45 min. Finally got through to a U-Haul person on the phone, and they helped me through self-pick up. Which was a terrible experience also, in having to verify my identity over the phone, with no back up documentation like a passport on me. Would have maybe been fine if I was told it would be a self check-in, but I wasn't.


The location was not well marked. Not enough instruction on how to pick up the van (at the time of booking). Or at the location it self. App did not work from my phone which is onely two years old. Luckily my it worked on my husband's phone. The dolly was missing and it looks like we've been charged. The van looks like it had never been clean, there were bugs on the dashboard and thick dust. Someone, I don't think this is compliant with health and safety, especially during COVID. The front cap of the truck was filty and smelly. I was very disappointed. (Also the piece we were moving was very heavy and since there was no dolly made everything very difficult.


I'll never use this facility again the poorest service I've ever encountered.

The app never allowed me to have an access code for the lockbox to return the key at 12am. I looked everywhere and there was nowhere to leave a key so I locked it on the interior on the dashboard in plain site. Next morning the owner called me screaming at me that I have to pay for a locksmith because they dont have a spare key and when i said no he yelled more about charging my credit card and hung up on me. I went in in person and he yelled again. Terrible representation of your company all captured on video. Then I called head office customer service to complain, after speaking to someone for 20 mins they said they were transfering me to a different department. I then explained the story to them and they said a manager would be contacting me via email. that was 3 weeks ago, NO RESPONSE. Horrible experience and I will NEVER rent again from this crooked company. I have a large online and social media presence and will make this whole story known.

Sanitize Truck prior handing out (or advised if it's cleaned) , ask for cdw option instead of just applying it. Overall, pleasure to deal with the rep, courteous and prompt service.


What is fuel fill up service fee $30 ? I got the vehicle for 4 hours and being charged $ 164 ? Why showing 19.99 on the vehicle to make people fool , I can't understand the receipt with these charges , please call to explain

We did the mobile pickup which was a terrible experience. There were glitches with the wouldn't work on my husband's phone so we had to use my phone, and the photos took forever to load. What we hoped would be a 15 minute process took over an hour. We ended up having to call customer service and we were on hold for 25 minutes before we got through to a representative. What's more, we had paid for furniture pads and they were NOT in the truck when we opened it. Because the store was closed during the hours we were there, we could not speak to anyone about this and ended up not having any furniture pads. When I called UHaul later to report this and ensure the charge would not be on our final bill, I was assured it would be removed and that the area manager for that location would call me within 2 days. I have NOT received a phone call from anyone and I just received my final bill which INCLUDES the charge for the furniture pads. I am very unimpressed with both the app and the customer service.

Upon arrival there was no Install signage to indicate where the U-haul key return box is located. It was located around the corner where there is no pavement in a location that was difficult that was no obvious. Also, the U-haul agent was not on site at all during my return. Thankfully the local store owner was able to help guide me to the drop off lockbox.

The pick up instructions were very unclear. i completed the mobile check-in early and was under the impression the rest of the process would be completed with a person at the U-haul desk. my originally selected location opened at 9:00am (start of my rental), but the location u-haul changed me to didnt open untill 11am. by the time someone at customer service figured this out with me, i lost an hour of rental time. The truck was not clean when i picked it up, it had water in the back and in the cup holders, ect. and the cab floor was not cleaned. I ordered 12 moving blankets, none of which were in the truck and for which i've been charged. I did not order a furniture dolly, or utlity dolly, which i am being charged for both even though they were not even in the truck at pick up. Then upon return i'm being charged a cleaning fee when i returned the truck cleaner than when i got it. Horrible experience and i want to be refunded for my troubles.

Being overcharged, and had to fight to get my money back, which took over two weeks. First time to happen to me, rented U-Haul trucks many times before from different locations, this one was terrible.

Last Monday I had the WORST experience I've ever had at a U-Haul. I arrived on time (1:30PM) for my rental, and the door was locked. I had to call customer service. They had to then call the place. A few minutes later someone came to the door, and all he said was "I don't speak english". Myself and the two friends I was with tried explaining and pointing to the truck, telling him I have one reserved. He looked confused and then made a phone call (he was either on the phone or texting for the duration). After that we went inside. He asked for my drivers license and credit card, he proceeded to take a picture ON HIS PERSONAL PHONE front and back of my credit card even though there was a machine in front of him (I had to cancel that credit card). After another 10 minutes of nothing happening I called back customer service again and explained what was happening. She wanted to talk to him, but once again he just said "I don't speak any english". Eventually my card was put through. This took an extra 30 minutes, in turn making another person wait on myself. This was an awful experience, and I cannot understand why this individual is even renting U-Hauls.

Store did not open when advertised. The door was locked and we didnt get the truck until well over an hour past the designated time, throwing off the entire move and costing additional money to keep elevators booked. Customer service was beyond rude and the delay was blamed on us trying to call with an unknown number. Apparently the business will not answer numbers they do not recognize. The employees were hear laughing at our delay behind a not-quite-so-closed door. The equipment itself was in good shape. Top Diamond does not represent UHaul well and I highly recommend that they not be allowed to operate on your behalf. I would never recommend this location to anyone. It makes me never want to use your services again. A move is stressful enough without poor busienss practices adding to an already lengthy list of things to be concerned about.
