We've rented UHaul trucks and have been involved with family members doing the same more times than your records will show (via different family names) for decades. I have 'talked up' the unique UHaul business model to friends and relatives. How many UHaul storage units have we happily rented over the years, including 5 years in north Lynnwood, WA we just moved out of 6 months ago under my wife's name: Lynnette Davis. This truck rental was our final move out of the Seatte area after selling our home, thus my stressed daily calls to various UHaul locations given to me and people... to make sure all was good. Nothing was ever 'for sure' good however, and when moving your home, that's not good. A voicemail from UHaul on my phone we couldn't understand from a worn out UHaul crap phone or battery finally led me to a different location for pickup who admitted "we have no trucks in stock, you'd better call the 206 area code call center"... About 18 hours from our booked pickup time. Does anyone at UHaul know what it's like to be on hold for 30 minutes? Three times? I was told I could get the one way 15' truck in Bellingham if I wanted to. Google Map Edmonds, WA to Bellingham, WA then back to see what that 'offer' ment one week after my reservation. In anger, we forced our way onto Shane (Shaun?) at the Lynnwood, WA store who called 'Harley' at the call center who fixed all issues and made things right. Our move went well and I've waited a few days to respond to cool my angers. Those two went the distance for us. My wife, after all these years with UHaul storage units and rental trucks is still pissed, however. Kevin DavisKEVIN D.

The U-Haul employee was extremely helpful and honest about the wording of what the advertisement states for truck dimensions. He was also helpful in needing to adjust the original order only to have it adjusted again. Please keep up the helpfulness.NATHAN E.
When picking up our trailer, we overheard the store manager talking to a customer and extremely derogatory manner. The gentleman was Asian, and he had a hard time understanding the employee. The employee, the manager then start talking to him as if he was stupid, not just having a hard time with the language barrier. The whole room was uncomfortable. Although it wasn't me who experienced this demeaning behavior directly, I was so appalled at how this poor man was talked to and treated that I called the corporate office to complain. I will never support a business that allows prejudicial treatment to any person. Something must be done.kristina E.

The check on after hours was awkward. I tried several times to use the check in service via website. It wouldn't work. I took pictures of the mileage, gas gauge and cab conditions. Called customer support and they noted my check in. After I hung up and followed their directions to deposit the key I thought maybe if I download the app and tried check in from there instead it might work since logging into my account from internet didn't. It worked. But I DON'T want to download an app that I am just going to delete again after completing checking. It should work from signing into my account. I tried 7 or 8 times that way. And then when I was using the check in process via the app, it would not let me upload the pictures I had previously taken! The app would only allow me to use my camera and take new pictures. I had already dropped the key into the key return though and the truck was locked! The app should let me upload pics that I had taken when I first arrived before even opening the app. But it doesn't. It will only allow new pictures. Moral of the story. U-Haul needs to improve its check in procedures after hours. I don't want to download an app when I should be able to log into my account and do it. And I should be able to upload pictures I had taken when I first arrived and not have to take new ones.DANIEL S.
The manager was speeding through the parking lot almost hit us and then had the audacity to ask me what I was doing. Not helpful will never rent from any uhaul again. This rental was placed in June of 2020. Why it's asking me to review it now in 2021 I don't know. But will never rent uhual again do to your Lynnwood manager again.SAMIRA M.

I am not happy that the app did not register my photo of the odometer before I left the pick up site on 3/9/21! The truck odometer read "24,598", but the contract read "24,518". I uploaded the photo according to the instructions on the link provided. Then I saw today that it did not make a difference as I was charged for going 80 miles over the allotted 72 miles! I drove from 19130 Hwy 99 Lynnwood, WA 98036 to 19207 Meridian Ave E. Graham, WA 98338 = approx 60 miles!! Please credit back the $35.20. Greg White 425-263-7188GREGORY W.

The truck I had reserved online was gone when I got there. They let someone else rice away in a truck under my name and contract. They did get me a replacement, luckily there was one there at the time however they were very unconcerned with the whole thing. No apology or any sense of urgency to get me a new truck. Just an overall poor experience.Chris S.
