I selected a location for pickup that is, apparently, not available. This location should be removed from the pickup options or honored when selected. Lock N Save made it right in the end but it did cause a impactful delay in my move.JEFFERY S.
The owner was late to open the store, he called and asked it if it was ok if he was late, as if my disapproval would give him the ability to defy the laws of space and time. I made my reservation on 6/8/22 for the truck and 36 blankets to be picked up over a month later. He told me the day of the pick up that he didn't have the blankets but told me which store I could go to get them. I rented them from him, but now it became my responsibility to track them down. We went to that location, which said they didn't have them and were sent to a third location that didn't have them. I called the owner and asked him to fix it. I received a call from a person identifying himself as the district manager, who apologized for the inconvenience and assured us that if we went back to the second location (4th stop) he could get us 30 of 36 reserved blankets. We returned to the second location and picked up the 30 blankets. The district manager requested I call him upon my deposit of the truck and blankets and he would take the blankets off my tab and refund me $100 for my wasted time/ trouble. Upon my return I called him, and he said he would call me back in five minutes once he was finished driving. He didn't. I called him a couple hours later and the call went straight to voicemail. Same for a follow up call, without a returned phone call. I wasnt refunded the $100 I was promised, the charge for the blankets was not refunded- or even refunded for the blankets I didn't receive. I doubt anyone will read this, to include Uhaul.kenneth S.
