Upon entering the business the sales associate was tending to a customer while at the same time was looking over myself and my two companions. I have been a Uhaul customer for many years and this was the first time for that as well as not being greeted with a "welcome to (name of store), I'll be right with you", "give me 5 minutes and I'll be right with you", nor even a simple "hello". No curtousy was displayed. Unfortunately, during the processing of my rental contract she also displayed little respect, little patience, and spoke to me in a sarcastic manner. She made it very clear from the moment we walked in the business that she was a profiler and apparently determined in her mind that I needed to be told 4 x about the policy regarding filling up the gas tank. I reminded her the 2nd time that she did not have to repeate herself and that I was well aware of what to do. She continued speaking to me as if I was anything other than honest and good people and reminded me about them taking money from me if I did not. The customer ahead of us wasn't spoken to in a rude manner nor did she remind him 4x about the gas. I get to the truck and realize it had never been swept out of both front cab and in back of truck. The cab hadn't been cleaned nor sanitized. The download tells you to take pictures of any damages, trash, etc then to add on post...it only allowed me either 2 or 3 and that was all. After leaving the business and onto highway even surface, the gas gage rises from full up to between full n 3/4 tank. I pulled over in gas station and took pictures of mileage and of gage but no place to send them. I spend almost $19.00 on gas then drop off truck and left gas receipt with a note regarding the tank not being full and that I filled well over full mark in gas and also that the vehicle was not cleaned out n dirty and that I took pictures. No one reimbursed me a single cent for replenishing gas for them, for free nor even called me up to apologize or make anything right to me as a valued customer. Very disappointed for this lady profiling me and my company and overall am upset for her rude and disrespectful behavior. They are just as much considered a representative of Uhaul whether being a 3rd party or not. They are responsible for inspecting those trucks making sure they are clean, sanitized n swept out, and filled up all the way to full before contracting them out to the next honest victim!Angela F.
After hour pickup done on my phone. My account that I set up did not show the vehicle. I had to do the entire pick up with a Rep over the phone. Very difficult after hour pick up.Charles M.
