I was instructed it would be $19.99 and Once it was all said and done it was $48.00. Ridiculous when it was not a long trip.

Be careful who you hire as a moving company. Pay more and be more satisfied.

Very helpful. Great people didn't have the truck I needed but replaced it with a bigger one at the lower price!! Awesome service.

They were extremely rude and unorganized. I called early that morning in desperate need of a truck. I knew I may or may not have luck since it was the same day. So when I received a phone call at 12 on Saturday I was instructed that they had a truck 15 foot truck available at the location and to come at 3:30. I arrive and they told me that they don't have any trucks and that U haul always overbooks them and she told me that she had been there all day and she never called and told me that. I felt that it was odd and I had a hard time believing that. So I ended up with a 26 foot truck which was way too big and inconvenient. This is the second time I've experienced issues with U haul dealers. The store I usually go to I've never had any problems. But this place was unprofessional and they spoke very poorly of U haul for "overbooking them all the time". I would pull their contract because they are bad for business and I when I move again I'll continue to have this in the back of mind.

The truck was turned in the same day I leased it, but evidently it never got marked as being returned.

The 17" truck I rented was extremely difficult to drive. The alignment was way off and steering and stopping was difficult. I was also charged twice for a dolly, even though I only rented one. and i was also charged for furniture blankets that i didn't even use, ask for, or touch that was hanging in back of truck on the wall. There was never a question as to if I wanted to include furniture blankets in my rental needs when initially picking up keys to truck. The grounds for the actual rental place itself were very unorganized, junky, and the office was just the same. Not good signage. i dont normally give bad reviews, i'm normally very understanding, but after being overcharged for unsuitable and unsafe equipment I feel it's worth sharing

I revived excellent customer service ! The 2 ladies that helped me we FANTASTIC! They had an issue with my card but they never gave up, they called and got it fixed after multiple times if trying to work it out themselves, wonderful!

I had two pick up locations since CTS towing had a broken down truck and we ended up getting it here and then having to drive back to get the tow dolly. It took 45 minutes for them to tell us that the truck wasn't working because the front desk lady kept answering calls and she kept getting frustrated because she was having trouble using the uhaul website. We had a closing that morning and we barely made it. Had to explain to the buyer why we weren't out of the house on time. Plus I didn't get the mattress or sofa cover I ordered because they didn't carry them and I had to remind them to give us the blankets as well. Worst rental experience we have ever had.

When you put in your preferred location and you are not told it will not be there then you assume it will there. If I hadn't checked two days before my pickup day I would've been out of luck!!! Cartraxx in Owensboro Ky is awesome and saved the day!

The sign directing customers to the office from the street was obscure. I passed by the drive to turn into the office and had to call to get directions. But once inside the staff was helpful & friendly. The truck was clean and ready for pick up. Great value.

The UHaul truck itself was great! It was clean and well-maintained. The location however, was a little frustrating. There were two workers there, but only one of them was doing anything. Because of this, he was answering phone calls while we were trying to pick up the truck. I chose the self pick-up option to make the pick-up go smoothly, but they had apparently never done it before, because they had no idea what I was saying and I had to explain the self pick-up multiple times. Once we had it figured out, then rest of my experience went great!

The gas wasn't full when I got it. The truck was dirty when I got it. My reservation location was changed and the time was changed without anyone informing me. My truck was then given away because I wasn't there at the time that it was switched to.

Grado:

This was my first time renting a U-Haul and I was kind of disappointed with the experience overall. To begin, my reservation was cut short because the location double-booked the van I rented so I had to expedite my moving process due to an error on their part. I was offered no apology or compensation by the woman working behind the counter for this error. Second, the location is difficult to find. They need a larger sign indicating where to turn in. Sure, I can see the U-Hauls from the main road, but I had no clue where to turn in order to find the office to complete my paperwork. Third, no one walked me through how to operate the vehicle. Like I stated previously, this was my first time renting a U-Haul. I've never driven a vehicle larger than a Chevy Suburban. I didn't know that you need to lock each door of the cargo van individually in order for your possessions to be safe. Thank God that my mother had rented a van at one point and remembered to tell me that or things might have been much worse.

I felt a little ripped off by the fuel charge. I used it around 30 miles and put 3.5 gallons of gas in before I dropped off but was told still 2.2 gallons short (no freakin way!). Had a long tiring day of moving and didn't feel like arguing over a little over $8 but flet was taken advantage of.

John A. en

Grado:

At both locations the employees were very helpful, however at Metro it was very difficult to turn around w/vehicles parked everywhere, in order to back the trailer into the appropriate spot.

Make sure the truck is actually taken care of. The truck broke down three times because the battery died. I called roadside assistance and was told that it would be 2 hours. Was able to have a friend jump me, however by that time my movers had to leave so I was left with myself and friend who weighs 90 lbs soaking wet, was originally told I would have to pay an additional 60$ to keep the truck longer because my movers had to leave and the truck wasn't unpacked after speaking with a supervisor she finally caved and agreed to wave the fee. However, this is the worst experience I have ever had. Not sure I will be renting a uhaul for awhile. Not worth the risk or hazards.
