The van looked relatively clean, but had a bad odor. I was raised on a farm and it smelled to me like cow manure. We brought the van back to our facility and mopped it out, then sprayed with a bio-organic deodorizer, and let it sit in the sun with all doors open for two hours. That helped somewhat, but the odor persisted for the three days. An empty soda can and water bottle were left in the van by the previous user. For these reasons, I would not use this location again.Dean S.

The service staff was great! The inside of the truck in the back storage area was dirty. There was dog feces in the floor that I had to clean. Because I was on a tight time schedule I was unable to return the truck for another that was clean!Toundra H.

I made a reservation on April 26 to pick up the truck 4 miles from my home, uhaul Havertown, on June 1st. At that time was told no problem, it would be there. The day before, May 31st, I was told I had to pick it up at another location, over 15 miles from my home and difficult to get to. I requested Uhaul arrange to have the truck sent to my original request site but was told UHaul would not move the truck to my location. If I have been give more notice, I would have canceled and selected another rental company. Extremely disappointing and inconvenient. Not a good way to expect return customers.Ernest P.
The uhaul website froze on self check in and would not allow us to re-check in. We the. Had to call uhaul customer service to have it resolved. This caused a 40 minute delay and we were then late meeting the movers= money wasted. Overall unhappy with the wedsite, app, and service for the priceRyan S.
I reserved 2 9-foot cargo vans for May 11. However, when we went to pick them up, there was only one van. We were told that the other reservation had been canceled which was not true. We were lucky that the site had a box truck we could rent, or we would have had a very bad situation that day. Hopefully, this will never happen again.joanne C.

I did not get the equipment that I had reserved 10 days prior, which delayed me 2 hours in order to get an alternative equipment. The cargo van that I had reserved was rented on Friday and should have been returned that evening. It was not returned but no one let me know until I arrived to pick up the van. I spent 30 minutes trying to connect with customer service. The young man covering the third-party uhaul facility was very pleasant and did all he could. The person in customer service, once I was got connected was, was very helpful. She found a 10 foot truck 20-25 minutes away but when I arrived at the secondary site they said they didn't have one but the customer service person smoothed things out. The issue I have is that Uhaul is supposed to be 24/7 with easy access yet their system does not seem to be trackable. Uhaul lacks in ablity to communicate, both with their third-party owners and with their customers. Please work on this issue.Shawn P.

I reserved online but when I came to get it, the guy at the desk had no idea, the guy who handles UHaul wasn't there. So 45 minutes later I was able to leave. The UHaul man was very apologetic but the older man seemed like he just didn't care.kellie W.
No improvement comments. Everyone was absolutely great! We couldn't get a rental car because they were so busy with a few cancelled flights at Philadelphia International airport. The right equipment wasn't there. We needed a 20' truck and only had a 15' available which was a problem. Also it had a bad tire which exploded several hundred miles into the trip.Todd W.
This pertains to uhaul the company and not this location. I rented a 6x12 trailer with ball and hitch. I chose a close location that stated the trailer was available. However after I selected it and checked out my confirmation text changed to a location 8 miles further. Ok so annoying but not a huge deal. I show up to pick up my trailer and the trailer is there but the guy tells me I don't have a ball and hitch for you. Anger is increasing now when I find out that the ball and hitch was at the closer location that I chose. So have to drive back to this location pick up the part and go back to the further location. Thanks for the notification telling me I had to go to two locations uhaul!!! So go back to the location and the attendant helps me hook up the trailer to my truck. Uh oh the the guy says, trailers harness doesn't plug into your truck. You'll have to get an adapter for it. Great!!! So now I have to drive your trailer without tail lights to an auto supply store and hope I don't get rear ended. Luckily said store was half mile down the street but there goes another $17 which after the discount the guy at the location gave me made it a wash. Get your act together uhaul!!!Raymond G.

Never rent from the UHaul on Township Line in Havertown. I reserved my trailer 3 days in advance for 10:30. I arrived around 11 am to pick it up and they informed me they gave it away since it was 11. Not only that but there was no other one on the lot I could rent. Thank God for the guys in Lester. They had one and hooked me right up. The township line location should be closed down.kathy B.

The man behind the counter was friendly, approachable, and human. He wasn't a "corporate man", and that was nice to see. I could tell this was more of a mom and pop type of place. Works for me! The price per mile seems to be significantly higher than at other locations, but what can you do, right?Dylan B.
