My complaint is not with the specific locations themselves it is with the overall customer service call centers. You are not able to contact specific branch's and speak with a person at the location who usually has the most information about the rental of the customer. Then if nothing can truly be "resolved" over the phone with the customer care associate why are they instructed to call literally everyone in the position above them to call the customer back. Then to have a manager or different service member to tell you, you have to go to the physical location to "resolve" the issue. This is absolutely terrible customer service. Why are you not able to simply contact the local branch to resolve an issue. Instead of speaking to 10 other people who can not assist in any way shape or form!!

Jordan, was very rood. She did not explain to me that vehicle would get a cleaning charge of $25 if not clean. She was very short and not very pleasant to ask any questions to. I will let people know. This was my first and last time using uhal. I plan on renting truck on a regular basis; but I will use Home Depot’s truck. The only issue we had was we couldn't find the after hours key drop box. We called customer service and the rep we talked to was great. We ended up finding the drop box. Better signage on after hours drop box!

We drove to this location from Williamston (as we were told the truck would not be able in Williamston due to Labor Day. Arrived at 5020 s cedar street where NO ONE was around to help us get the truck. Called the number from the app and he didn’t know what was going on or how to express check in the truck from there. After 10 mins we finally grabbed someone and we’re able to be on our way (Other people were waiting too) When we attempted to return the truck one of the workers told us we had to return it to Williamston! That was not discussed earlier and on the app our drop off address was 5020 s cedar. We were able to express check out the truck and leave it there WITH NO HELP from the staff. We were NOT IMPRESSED with the staff here. They were rude and unhelpful. I’ve had good experiences with U-haul before but this was not one of them.

Same concern from the pick up location. The lady only marked 3/4 on my contract paper but did not change/reflect this in the system. I end up returning the vehicle with 11/16 and the gentlemen was going to charge me for fueling. I explained everything to me and it was not charged at the end. Please make sure there is consistency among all location to provide the best customer service.

Great customer service from the people working. However extremely understaffed. College move in weekend at Michigan State and only two or three people working that I saw. Approximately 15-20 customers were in there when I picked up and dropped off. Knowing that it’s move in weekend and hanging your staff out to dry like that was awful by management or whoever staffs the location.

I told the agent I did not want insurance. When I found out it was on the bill, he changed & would email me the corrected bill. He didn't send it so I called and they said there was a note stating it was removed. According to this email, it still hasn't. FIX IT!
