Near flat tire that I had to make them inflate before we drove off the lot. It was half flat in the morning so our departure was delayed while they changed the tire. Had to refuse the first one they tried to change it to as it was bald. The door on the UHaul constantly got stuck even when the trailer was empty. Took two of us to open/close. One pulling the strap and another one inside pushing it from up top. Worse rental experience ever and I have been renting UHaul for moves for 30 years. The store attendants mumbled a lot. Didn't have much to say and must hate their jobs is all I can say. I am not accustomed to leaving poor reviews but I cannot let this experience slide. It was not ok.BRENDA JEANNE H.

The truck was ok but was old and not in the best shape but it did the job for what we needed. I wouldn't have wanted to drive it very fair, thankfully we didn't have too.Griffin M.
Terrible experience with Uhaul. I reserved equipment online with no issue. I the. Received a call from Uhaul to confirm my reservation and was told my location was not available, but on the North side of Lansing was. She confirmed everything and said she put multiple items in the notes reference my reservation and the fact that I would be 1.5 hours late returning the trailer. Assured me it would not be a problem. I got to the location the pick it up and my reservation was completely screwed up. She had reserved a tow dolly for me which is absolutely not what we had discussed. There were no notes either. She completely lied to me. The guy at the counter went out of his way to help me out and said that 6:30 would not be an issue. At just after 5 pm I received a call from the store telling me I was late and where was the trailer. I was scolded for not having it back when due and â€œother people were waiting for itâ€. It appears there is zero communication at Uhaul. I was not pleased at all with the rental with the exception of the gentleman at the counter that went out of his way to help. Female clerk was very short and unfriendly when talking with customers. Also, She called me at 11:33 am on Saturday and didn't even day hi... just "the truck was due back at 11 and it's not here" I reminded her that we rented it for 2 days so it was not due back till Sunday. I was supposed to be able to check in with my phone because we planned to arrive at 8:00 am which was before the store opens. Luckily we changed it to 9:00 because the keys were inside the building rather than in the key box. It's good that we weren't in a rush to get going because it took 30 minutes to get out of the parking lot from when we pulled in. The cargo area of the truck was dirty and stained our mattress and box spring. The truck seems to run a bit rough and it took a LOT of gas to go only 130 miles.Dennis R.

The man who helped me - I am so bad at getting names! - was great! He hooked up my trailer, checked my lights, the whole nine yards, but never made me feel like I couldn't have done it myself. A lot of the time, because I'm a smaller women, I'm treated inferior from the second I walk in the door. So props to him!Vaughn S.

First, and foremost. I was not given the so called, $50 Guarantee! I had reserved a 6 x 12 open trailer for friday...April 16th, 2021. The morning of my reservation the N East u-haul location employee calls me to have to cancel my pickup for that day! His reason was based on another customer refusing to return the trailer I had reserved? No $50 Guarantee!?! I showed up the next day to discuss my complaint...And U-haul system was down? The store employees stated, they're down nationwide?! I did reach out to the store manager, and no response!ARNOLD N.
Tim went above and beyond his duties. I arranged a drop off another location, GPS showed I was there but I didn't see it, when I tried to call they were closed. So I selected an alternate dealer and when I showed up Tim advised me they charge for unscheduled drops, he called the place that I was suppose to drop it at and they said they didn't have room so to accept it without the fee. That helped me to not have to drive 40 miles the next day to make a second attempt and I returned it a day earlier then the contract stated.
