I originally arranged to pick up my rental truck from U-Haul Moving & Storage of Scotland and Central in Orange, NJ - from where I also pre-ordered boxes and bubble wrap. Then, a couple of days before my rental was set to start, U-Haul moved my truck pick up location to New Body Collision in Kearny, NJ. This is not a full U-Haul location, it is a separate business that has only one 10' truck and a lock box mounted to the outside of their fence with a QR code on it that you scan with your phone and then follow the steps in the U-Haul mobile app. The business owners are not responsible for the U-Haul rental truck, though one of them was very kind and helpful to me when I could not find the truck on any of the immediately nearby blocks when the U-Haul app said to simply find it on the street. I also reserved and paid for a Utility Dolly for my long-distance, one-way moving trip, and there was not one in the truck. When I got to U-Haul Moving & Storage of Scotland & Central in Orange, NJ to pick up my boxes and bubble wrap - where I was required to make an extra stop after I picked up the truck, the staff there told me that Utility Dollies are not rented for one-way, long distance trips. But, the owner at U-Haul Moving & Storage of Evanston told me that was not at all true when I dropped off the truck at the end of my rental. The truck itself was fine.
