Habeeb, was not helpful at all he said â€œjust back it over thereâ€ pointing to the other U-Haul vehicles, he did not inspect the vehicle which forced me to take a video of the vehicle to protect myself, he did say on the positive side, because we turned it in early we would receive credit for early return and unused miles once the contract was completed.
Absolutely the worst pick up experience. Asking me to rate the store is pointless. My reservation was moved my Uhaul to another location. I arrived at the designated time and was told I had no truck availalbe. After almost an hour, they told me I had to get a larger truck from a location in another city. This was a 0/5 pickup experience and this has 100% Uhaul corporate and not the local pickup location.
The clerk waited a few hours before he checked the truck in and charged me twice

I requested a dolly and he never told us one wasn't available. It would not have been a big deal, but I had paid for it. He said call UHaul and they would reimburse my card, fine. Then when I got the bill not only was I charged for the dolly, but he also increased the amount of one and also doubled the insurance I picked. Thankfully customer service was able to reimburse me $74
Poor service, not organized to prepare equipment . Inaccurate billing generated. For the first time, I have wrong amount charged to my rental. The agent at the counter seemed untrained for the task and the owner had to do transaction over the phone to the point where they could not give me a printed contract for the road. Therefore , they changed my order and added a safe move that I never requested.
Trailer requires a separate "lift-jack", since the trailer itself has no hitch jack to remove it from the vehicle. This location does not have one. Fortunately, we were able to have someone stand on the back of the trailer while I brutally lifted the trailer from the hitch. Not cool since I have back issues, and after a day of moving furniture. A drop-off receipt was not provided, forcing us to take photographs as evidence we dropped the trailer off. The trailer can easily be stolen from the location, leaving us holding the bag.
I got lucky getting this truck. It was not my original scheduled location. When I got to my original location they told me there were no trucks and I would have to drive to a place that was 50 miles away. I had no notification from uhaul of the change. I had people drive in over 2 hours to help me with this move. Finally after sitting is some parking lot getting pushed off to another dept. over and over again by uhaul on the phone. Each time had to sit and wait over 15 min for someone to answer, one was 37 min. they found this location. Half of the team that came to help me had to leave. The truck was upsized to a size I couldn't even fit in the parking lot where I was moving from. Uhaul has done this to me before, They take the booking with no damn idea whether they will even have a truck avail. at that site. I do not even know why I am filling this out because uhaul will just ignore it. Uhaul will always be my last resort, unfortunately at this time they are one of the biggest players. I also have a storage which I will be moving out of asap even if I have to store my stuff in the middle of my yard.
Everything was smooth and easy. No complaints.
The cabin light won't turn off that was the only thing wrong. Otherwise excellent ??!

The trailer that was reserved was not there. Had to use another one. Same kind though. Had no ability to put a trailer hitch ball on hitch. Had to go to a parts store to install.

they did not do a "walk around" on the truck in jefferson. when I arrived at my destination, they tried to say I "knicked" the windshield. Im glad I purchased the safe trip ins, even tho they didnt hold me responsible.
Find someone that understands English and can follow directions. I told him I was renting the truck for a one way destination on 02/24/19 and that I would drop off the truck in Lincolnton Ga on 02/26/19. The next morning a different U-hail location in Jefferson called me saying the truck was overdue. I was also told the one way rental included 81 miles. I drove 104 miles, which is 23 miles over. I was charged 73.8 miles over. This experience has not been pleasant dealing with incompetent locations in the 30547 area. There was another location that I called on Friday 02/22 to confirm they were open on Sunday. I was told they were and drove out of my way to pick up a truck, only to find out they were closed.
Not easy to communicate with a Strong accent.
We went to pick up our truck st the location it was reserved for, only they didn't have the truck we reserved. We got sent over to another location that had one. When it was time to return the truck, we drove it back and the guy working the store was locking up. Instead of taking the key back and giving us our receipt he just said use the app for key/rental returns and drove off. When we did the return according to online instructions, the lock box wouldn't open for they key to be returned and there was no other drop box or key slot located anywhere at the pick up location. We left the truck but have to go back up there AGAIN to return the key to an actual person. Overall very frustrating experience.
When i got to the store to pick up trailer (after I booked on line) I was told it was going to be 2x the amount I was told on line scam...
Used mobile self check in and they had the wrong key in the box. Called customer service and got an account rep to contact me. Had to go to the next town over to pickup the truck. I'm still trying to workout the credit they promised me and trying to get credit for fuel. The place I picked it up from said the fuel take was full and I have a picture to prove that it was not...smh... Will probably never use them again if they like to play games.
The drop off location was convenient. It was an older gas station so it wasn't what you would think of as a typical drop off location, but worked out great. Process was easy and convenient.
Actually give me an invoice copy/documentation of my rental. I was not given any proper paperwork of the terms of my rental, including the fact that UHAUL offered to provided me with 30 free miles.
Not enough blankets Did not get a receipt. Said he would email it but it was not in my email box.
i was sent to FOUR (4) different locations before finally finding this gas station to drop my trailer... having had to go back and forth from all these location till I found the final one "sunshine mart" upon dropping there I was charged an additional 30$ because it was late... I assure you I was not late to the first TWO locations your 800 # sent me to. I'm furious with UHAUL and I have spent a ton of money with you this year already. in the last two weeks alone nearly 1k, I will never use uhaul again, and will not allow my family friends to either... I hope the 30$ was worth it to lose a valued? customer...
YOU NEED CHEC YOUR TRUCK BECAUSE THE ONE WE USED ON JULY DE12-2018 WAS PROBLEM WITH DE BREAKS,OIL COMPRESOR ,TO ME DE BREAKS IS LOT OF CONCERNS,THE STORE PEOPLE WAS VERY NICE BUT THE TRUKS IS BELONG TO YOU TO FIXALLTHE PROBLEMS .
