This rental was a mess from the beginning. I reserved the truck online 3-4 weeks before I needed it at a specific location close to where I needed it. I got a call a couple days before telling me I needed to go to another location to get the truck. The day came and I went to that location only to find they new nothing about it adn told me to go to the original location. I went there adn they said the truck was not there although they had several trucks the size I had reserved. They sent me to another location, and yes they had the truck, or a truck although the lady there acted like she did not know much about anything with the rental. They did not have it ready with the other things I reserved as part of it. She never asked for ID and there was no contract I ever saw. The truck was dirty inside, not full of gas. She got me the missing moving blankets and dolly and off I went. Fast forward to today. I called to change the drop off location and in doing so found out that my contract had been cancelled. The man I spoke with was very helpful in getting everything resolved and straightened out. He said I had been given the wrong truck and that is why the systems said my reservation had cancelled because I never picked up the right truck. I have not rented a uhaul truck before but I would caution people doing so. The truck needs to be at the location I wanted it at. Running me to 3 different locations is a joke. Finally getting it and having the person giving me the keys of a filthy dirty truck is a joke given how much this truck rental costs. Not having it ready with what added items I ordered is a joke. Giving me the wrong truck is a joke! In my opinion you guys should be discounting the cost substantially for such poor service and the hassle it was. When I learned I was in the wrong truck and had I been pulled over I could have had areal mess being in a truck that there was not contract on. The only positive things of all of it was the man who helped me so much when i called customer service today. I would have a hard time making a positive recommendation of your company after this experience.

Truck windows very dirty, we had to clean before driving the truck. Was charged $100.00 more for rental then what was quoted online: was told it was a security depost that would be refunded after vehicle was turned in. Call U Haul Customer Support and they confirmed that there is no security deposit and is working on refunding the monies.

I had set a reservation for 8 am, and was sent to this location which didn’t open until 10 am. The staff there did not know how to properly hook up a trailer, and they did not have an electrical adapter to give me. They showed me one that they said I couldn’t take, and I had to drive across the street (with no tail lights) to Lowe’s and buy one myself.

I was unable to return my equipment to this location. In fact, she provided me with a new location (which I drove to) and the staff member there refused to accept the equipment due to “lack of space”. I then went to a third location and the staff member had left a not on the desk stating “be right back, cal Steve with any question”. I called and was unable to get a response. I left the truck key in the drop bock along with the rental number and took pictures, proving I left the truck there. I contacted U-Haul corporate regarding my extremely poor and unprofessional experience and waiting for a response and refund for this outrageous experience. I will not be using U-haul for any of my moving or hauling needs in the future

I dropped off on Saturday the 28th after hours and vehicle was clean all equipment returned. I get a email for 50 dollar cleaning fee. The vehicle was not dirty inside or out. It left Menifee ca on Friday and dopped of that Saturday Clean and with correct fuel.I am now being bill 86.40 for What?. I want someone to call me at 951-837-6600.Ive rented 3 Uhaul in a month and not happy

Horrible customer service provided by this location. When I showed up to pick up vehicle, I waited around for at least 10 minutes for someone to show up; He ran to get supplies. Then within 5 minutes of leaving, check engine light came on. Tried calling numerous times, no answer; left a voicemail and to this day never received a call back. Went to different location and was immediately taken care of. Avoid at all costs!

While the location was open at the scheduled time of pick-up, no one was available to process my Uhaul pick-up. An employee called the owner and he said I would have to wait for him to come back to the location, which was ~30 min. When he did show up, he was not apologetic and unfriendly. I will not be using this location again in the future.

The person who checked us in and gave us the keys to our truck didn’t seem to know how to work the computer system. It took several tries and a call to a support number to get everything done. They also didn’t provide the number of furniture pads we rented and we ended up at another location to pick them up. I also ordered a dolly that they forgot to provide. When I came back and brought up the issue, it was clear that the guy didn’t bother looking at my order when he checked me in. It just wasn’t a very smooth process and it set our day back by about an hour.

the person who helped me had no idea how to check my rental in. he had to call uhaul and was hold forever. i had agreed to have the $8 safe tow coverage and my rental was 29.95. i just received my receipt and it is for $85.62. i was never given a receipt yesterday even though i asked for one he just said there wasn't any paperwork and my total was going to be $42.?? i am very unhappy that i was just charged doubled when i never agreed to this amount.

And the mileage on my rental was not accurate. I was charged a $14 U-Haul insurance fee even though I declined it, I was told I could resolve this only through U-Haul customer service. Overall it was not convinient. I am still waiting a refund almost three weeks later.

I was supposed to do a quick, easy check out using my phone, but there were issues so I went inside. The internet and phones at the location were down and it ended up taking 45 minutes to rent my truck, a process that should have taken 5. The next day, I received a phone call from U-haul to see if I returned my truck because the location never checked it back in. It was returned within an hour of renting it, so I should not have been bothered with this during the work day.

Since Molina's furniture is located so close to Fish's Uhaul more detailed description could be given. Uhaul trucks are seen so close at these 2 places making it confusing to find the right location to drop off.

They did not report the trailer as being returned. I got a notice 2 weeks after returning it that the trailer was delinquent and wondering where it was! Other than that Molina was just fine!
