Rating: â˜…â˜†â˜†â˜†â˜† My recent encounter with U-Haul left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated, prompting me to share my experience as a cautionary tale. From start to finish, the service was marked by dishonesty and a complete lack of integrity. We rented a vehicle and made it a point to inform the U-Haul representative that the fuel level was below a quarter tank. To our surprise, we were assured that returning it with the same fuel level would be sufficient. However, upon returning the vehicle, we were hit with an exorbitant charge of over $100. It became evident that the information provided earlier was misleading, to say the least. The frustration didn't end there. Our attempt to address this issue with Kenny, a representative from U-Haul, was met with nothing but rudeness. The lack of professionalism and courtesy displayed during our interaction with Kenny was disheartening. It left me questioning the overall culture and values within the organization. This incident leads me to believe that such deceptive practices may be ingrained in U-Haul's culture. Charging customers unfairly and providing inaccurate information appear to be an accepted norm, as evidenced by our experience. It's disheartening to see a company engage in such behavior, especially one that relies heavily on customer trust. In conclusion, my experience with U-Haul was far from satisfactory. The blatant dishonesty regarding fuel charges and the discourteous behavior exhibited by Kenny are indicative of a larger problem within the company's culture. It's truly a shame to witness a business resorting to such practices, and I strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution when dealing with U-Haul.Anthony M.

I was unhappy with the price I got online versus the price I had to pay afterwards. Instead of the person explaining the question I had I was argued with. Overall vehicle was good so no complaints there. Just feel like the price giving online shouldn't be up charged at the pick up site.Ashley B.
The truck did not drive well. It was a quarter tank when I rented it. Drove it 15 miles and returned in less than 2 hours but was charges $47 for gas alone!!!! I called and was told its in agreement under 1/4 is $30 charge and mine was one notch under. Also never requested insurance but was charged $14.99. Over $120 for 15 miles and less than 2 hours. Never again! No one informed me of any of this when I signed agreement! Terrible customer service over the phone and at locationAPRIL H.
