Right when I pulled up a guy came out and took the keys and said "our check-in program is down" and took the keys. I told him the truck had cut off on me 4-5 times during my trip. He said Ok and went back inside.Philip H.

Had reserved a 10' but needed a ramp so had to upgrade. They said they didn't have a 15' so had to rent a 20' This was way overkill for my need. I was just putting the contents of my garage in the truck while the floor was being epoxied. I felt they could have charged the 15' cost. Also. the cost per mile was way too high. I'm glad I only drove it 8 miles.Lawrence L.

Great experience in the beginning. Rich helped me purchase a wiring harness that I needed. When he was hooking it up, he said the screws were too small and I could just run to Lowe's and grab the right size. Fair enough. He zipped tied it for the time being so it wouldn't dangle so low. I swung by the hardware store, purchased longer screws and headed home. I discovered the wiring harness screws did not match with the plate on my car. I tried to return it the next day, since what was sold to me didn't fit my vehicle, and Rich said there were no returns on electronic purchases. I reiterated that he sold me a part that did not fit my vehicle and I was basically told "too bad, no returns on this part."JON JASON B.
The truck was dirty and reeked of cigarettes. I have asthma so that caused me problems. I thought people weren't supposed to smoke in there. Truck was not cleaned properly before it was given to us. That's gross period but especially during a pandemic. Not sure if I will use UHAUL again.Rebecca H.

The new manager, Jules was nice and very new to the office. It took an extremely long time to validate a voucher that I received. The delay caused me to miss my scheduled 0900 appointment with Moving Help, which delayed my departure from Raleigh, NC.MELANIE T.
When I first renewed truck, was not given the free month even though I discussed it with the owner. The code I requested was NEVER entered. I always had to go in and get a temporary code to use except the one when someone else was there. This last rental, I was charged for an appliance dolly that wasn't on the truck I rented.Lowell Z.

The person "helping" me was not very helpful. They seemed annoyed that I was even there. Then I had to find and hook up the trailer myself and she asked that I pull around so she could take a picture of it but didn't actually check anything. Didn't check the connections, didn't check the lights, nothing. I also didn't recieve a paper copy of the contract that I normally receive from the regular Uhaul store I go to. Also, the store was very cluttered and dirty and she was not wearing a mask. I reserved the trailer at my local Uhaul, the one I usually go to, but someone called the day or two before to tell me my reservation was moved to a different Uhaul location. On the website and in stores it says "$50 reservation guarantee" "guaranteed equipment, time, and location or recieve $50". I would think that would apply here because I reserved the trailer at a specific location and then I was told I have to drive to a different location 20 minutes away from where I reserved the trailer only to receive very poor customer service.Joshua C.

Windshield on driver's side had tape on the outside, making it hard to see in the rain, also, the wipers needed to be replaced. The change oil light came on every time I started the van. The door lock switch on the driver's door was broken and unusable . The floor of the van was very wet and when I needed to load I had to use 3 of the moving blankets to cover the floor to prevent my goods from being damaged . I will say the truck did run well ( I was worried about it not driving well, as the other issues were a pain).James P.
