This locations really helped us out after a diasterous morning when location #2 notified us that our trailer was unavailable & that traffic dispatch (TD) made a mistake telling us that our 4x6 was available with them. Location #2 told me to call TD to receive alternative location. After I told TD what location #2 told me, TD said that the trailer was available to us when inventory was checked the night before. TD attempted to give me an alternative location which was an hour away from my home. TD had no other options other than a larger trailer at no added cost. We decided to proceed with larger trailer. Upon arrival at location #3 (McCarty's), we explained that we were only needing the trailer to move a couple of arm chairs from a friend's house to our house (San Anselmo to Pt Richmond). McCarty's checked their inventory & said that they had a smaller trailer but it was only available until 2 pm. McCarty's gave us the smaller trailer as long as we guaranteed return before or by 2 pm or face a $250 penalty fee. We returned the trailer by 1230 & were pleased that McCarty's took the extra step to help us instead of doing the "routine" thing. I booked over a week in advance for pick up at Location #1 with disclosure that no guarantee of our requested trailer was available. Lesson learned: no guarantee on Uhaul trailer rentals until day of rental. At least, the morning move ended well, thanks to McCarty's.

Staff is very knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. Reserving and picking up the trader is pain free. Returning the trailer is equally quick. Every Memorial weekend we go camping. I rent the 5x8 enclosed trailer. I can tow the trailer with a small SUV. This size trailer fits my needs very well.

This Uhaul was great. I was able to go in, describe what I needed and got it. They were friendly and the rates are great. They were able to inform me of any addition equipment I might might need for towing. The equipment was in great shape and I had no problems with it. I will use them again.

I had a very good experience with this location. The Richmond Uhaul is horrible. They told me my rental was at their location and then referrred me to El Sobrante. They were very rude and unprofessional in Richmond.
