Please train your representatives. He did not give me a contract upfront and then applied the $10 coverage. Also overcharged me at the end and refused to give me a receipt and then called the police when I demanded a receipt.

Ian at this location was very helpful. It’s a shame that the reservation system was completely incompetent. Ian saved me from being financially harmed due to such incompetence. When I spoke to Regional Manager Manu about my issues he was VERY RUDE!!!! When I called Corporate Headquarters regarding my concerns regarding the verbally abusive treatment by Manu, the customer service person had me on speakerphone while bouncing a ball against the wall...obviously bored with my call. What’s happened to u-haul?? My local neighborhood guy is awesome, but other employees are atrocious!!!

We used the truck for 10 minutes and drove less than 1/4 mile and the truck ended up being too small. We went back to get a bigger truck, but we were still forced to pay for the initial truck in addition to the bigger one. We ended up paying more than double what was necessary. We understand how the policy works but it seemed really unfair.

Rental confirmation led us to the wrong location. Made us drive to a farther location, which means we were charged for a longer distance. Return location was closed at 6 PM and return time is 6:30 PM. The return location told us to just drop the key in their mailslot. The receipt showed that we were overcharged for the next day. Customer service makes it really difficult to resolve the situation.

make sure that there is enough trucks fro the amount of reservations you have. I reserved a 15ft and ended up with 10ft. I was told I would receive a $50 credit for taking the smaller truck and I did NOT receive that either.

The guy doing the rental was a family friend and untrained. I had a reservation for 8am when the location opened. And I specifically drove and chose a much further location from my house so that I could take advantage of this earlier opening time. BUT he took over 45 minutes to process our reservation. Felt bad for the guy-- the owner dumped this responsibility on him with NO TRAINING. AWFUL location. During the peak moving season, the owners of this location decided to have an untrained associate...horrible decision. Secondly, the truck was filthy disgusting. I swept it and left i CLEANER than when I found it. Third, when I returned the truck, I asked why i was charged a SafeMove Coverage charge of $14 when I did the reservation I did not chose this coverage because my car insurance already covers moves. He said I could not be shown the receipt... he had to charge me first and then if I had any disputes I had to call the corporate office. I did call the national hotiline, waited over 30 mins to speak to someone, just to have them say I had to talk to a manger at the local office. All over $14. I wasted over 2 hrs of my time when all the guy had to do was delete than from my account. To avoid any more hassle, I decided to eat this cost cos it's not worth talking to the local office again... I know moving is stressful and most places are pretty crappy. It's not the worst place I've ever rented from but they could definitely improve.

This location was very conveniently located for me and the ability to use the 24/7 app for drop off was great. The lot is small so it was hard to park the truck which is why I wouldn’t recommend it to someone unless that location was also convenient. Also the key drop could be more clearly marked or an actual box it was more of an open handle in the door.

This location worked well. The employees were very kind and helpful. However, this was NOT the drop off location that was sent to me on my confirmation email. I had to search for an available truck myself after u-haul failed to provide me with a location that had a rental for pick-up. Called and drove around all around West LA in search for an available truck. I was lucky that this location had a recent cancellation and I was able to pick up the truck. But I am incredibly dissatisfied with the organization and customer service of u-haul. What is the point of calling to schedule a location and pick-up time when the one provided didn't even have one ready? I was on hold for over 20 minutes with u-haul customer service and gave up on speaking with a representative. Overall, this delayed my move by nearly 2 hours.

The gentleman running this location was extremely unorganized, sketchy, rude and unprofessional. He rents out his parking lot to a sleezy Mexican restaurant next door for valet and failed to communicate that with me so when I tried to return the van after business hours, there was no where for me to park. I was really confused and asked both the valet guy and the restaurant manager to make space for me to park the van back on to the property, as I was advised to, and they both refused and were rude. The business was closed the next day and I had to park the van on the street. I was extremely worried about the van I set my alarm to call the location at 8 am Monday morning to advise the gentleman where I parked the van. He was upset with me because I didn’t do the self check out online. I was unable to because I was not told that I had to take a Live Photo of the speedometer. I took the photo as anyone would prior to returning the van. I tried to upload the photo but was unable to. He kept asking me why I didn’t do the self check out but wouldn’t allow me the time to explain to him the situation and kept saying “I didn’t ask you about parking! I asked you why you didn’t complete the self check out!” As I continued to try to answer him and explained to him, he just kept interrupting me! This is by far the WORST experience I’ve had with renting a U-Haul! I have rented a U-Haul several times and I have never encountered such horrendous customer service like this before. He should not be allowed to be a U-Haul dealer based on his level of professionalism and lack of empathy, considering I am a single female trying to move a large piece of furniture by myself to my pregnant sister! This level of unprofessionalism is unnecessary and should be promptly addressed for future customers having to deal with an already stressful time with moving!

Didn't get the equipment I reserved (pads+dolly). Was told by the location it would be taken off my reservation. It wasn't. I was also charged $28 for safe move coverage. It was $15 when I agreed to purchase it. I then reached out to the location and asked for clarification on the charges and got no response
