They charge 40 dollars more than they supposed to charge. Even i poured gas more than i should . I add insurance and 1 dolly. I only drove total less than 15 miles for 10' truck. BUT THEY CHARGE ME TWICE $61.74 and $43.51!!Sungho C.
The online check-in took a really long time and I still needed to get the key from the gas station employee. It was a waste of time and would have been faster to do a normal pickup, since it didn't lower my exposure to other people at all.Jillian M.
We rented a dolly, but there was no dolly. Unfortunately, we didn't check until we got to our destination. Also, we had to get someone to move another U-haul so that we could get out because the truck they gave us was blocked in.Ernesto L.
I was miss charged for my gas after drop off. I returned at full tank and was charged 10gallons of fuel equalling to $50. Hopefully support will fix it but if they don't I warn anyone who uses this place to do your own return on the app. Thanks!Rachel J.

Have more than one truck in stock, and have the vehicles properly maintained. The truck needed oil, the air conditioning didn't work, and the windshield wipers didn't work. They didn't do a safety inspection. They didn't have pads, and the dolly didn't have any straps. When we arrived to pick up the truck, he had to do everything on his phone to write up the contract and reserve a truck. Because he runs his U-Haul business out of a gas station, he had to keep ringing people up while we waited to the side.JOHN M.
I called the location to rent a truck. He saud they didnt have one. I called uhaul and they made the reservation at the same location that said they didnt have a truck. I went in to pick it up. I guess the owner is the only one to do the rental. He took my id handed me the key and that was it no thank you nothing. I brought the truck back went into the store to return. The guy asked my name. He said ok im all set. I said no someone needs to check it in now.. He saud the owner will when he gets back. I said ill wait. Then the cashier saud he will be right out. I said I thought he was gone? The owner came out and saud ok your done ill email a receipt. I said can you check it now he said it was fine. I dont think he like to deal with uhaul at all. I received my receipt and he added insurance even after I refused it when I did the online check in. So I want that refunded. I know why he did thag because im sure it goes right to him. He gave me no receipt when i left with the truck nor when I returned. Very rude. Or he just doesnt like to deal with Gay people. I buy storage Units weekly and rent a truck weekly. I called the guy at 76 station to tell him I'd be late to pick up, he said is this Carin Bowman ok no problem. When I got there he said I wasn't in the system and acted like we haven't spoken. I had two workers waiting for me at 50 per hour while he called the guy from Uhaul. Eventually I was given the truck but I nearly had a heart attack. Not cool needless stress added to an already stressful situation. He sent me off without any payment information. I was like hey do you need me to pay now or later and he was like oh yeah you need to pay now. Total Bozo!carin B.

When I initially went to pick up my rental in California City at ACE hardware, I was informed that my reservation had be cancelled 2 days after I made it. I did not receive a phone call nor an email saying that is was cancelled. I called uhaul and they told me that it had been cancelled but no one could tell me why. I was then on the phone for nearly an hour trying to find another truck so that I could continue my move. I spoke with a very competent lady named Vicky who was very helpful and found me another rental that was 50 miles away in the opposite direction of my move. I had no choice but to get a ride to Ridgecrest, CA and then drive the truck all the way back to California City. Vicky was probably the only good part of my experience with uhaul. The shear lack of communication was mind boggling and it caused and added amount of unnecessary stress to both my family and I. I will not be recommending uhaul to any one of my friends and will no longer give you my business.Christopher M.

I called with questions and the man who answered just ignored me half the time on the phone and then got angry when I would ask if he was there. Didnt try to help me with my issues or anything. When I got there the locstion reaked, and the man didnt greet me or say anything to me. At. All. It was super awkward. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place.SECRET KELLY P.

There wasn't a place to buy locks for the U-Haul. I had to make a separate trip elsewhere. I would prefer an actual U-Haul store where I can buy locks last minute if neededBenjamin M.

The person working was dismissive did not take the time to check to confirm my equipment drop off. I was turned away even after showing my contract. Then after being on hold with UHAUL when I spoke with the useless scheduling department who would not allow me to return to elsewhere I had to go back to this location. The representative was threatening, aggressive, and rude. I feel unsafe returning, but again the useless liars at the scheduling for UHAUL said I could not return equipment elsewhere even though I do not feel safe. They lied and said other people have scheduled the equipment and must be dropped off there. Well, I had an appointment in one city and to pick up in two different cities, so I know they could have made the changeJennifer G.
at this location was good.... BUT.... BUT.... I don't remember EVER having to pay for Mileage, I rented from Uhaul before, last time was 8 years ago..... I made sure there was gas put back in truck, and paid the rental fee..... $64 is too much, I will check others like Home Depot next time..... Uhaul never again....Scott W.
