The truck was in poor performance loud, road rough, non electric windows and view mirrors, truck pulling to one side at a certain speed, and was given wrong location causing me to pay for an Uber to the other location. Not happyVERONICA N.

The only issue I had during the entire U-Haul experience was the day before when I learned that my preferred location had changed to a city over 50 miles away. Stuck me for $75, saying I turned in truck with less than the 3/16 tank I left with. Spent 50 minutes on phone trying to straighten it out and even then, had to threaten to sue the operator and U-Haul yo get confirmation of my refund, which I'm STILL waiting for. Don't use U-Haul! In my opinion! I felt as if the pick up and return of the equipment/truck after hours could've went smoother with updated computers and software. My reason behind this is because my card was wrongfully charged twice do faulty equipment/software. Other than that uhaul is my go to for all moving, packaging, and storing/shipping needs. The lady who checked me out was borderline rude, didn't answer questions, barely made eye contact, etc. The truck seemed very clean but it was so old that it was really hard to go above 40-45 miles per hour. I wouldn't rent from this location again unless I had to. I also found that despite my efforts to go to the location closest to me, the website KEPT directing me to this location. I wish I had pushed back. Also, they changed my reservation without anyone calling to explain why and sent way too many texts before I got there. The process was messy and inconvenient for such a simple thing.ADWOWA A.

The pickup process was very repetitive to the online information I'd already filled out, also having to call a 3rd party to verify my identity is a pointless step since the agent has a photocopy of my driver's license and my credit card information in front of them. Good experience overall. Truck was clean and well kept. Key wasn't in the right place, but no problem going in for it. Air bag fault light was on the whole trip, which they plan to take care of promptly. Staff is excellent. I'll rent from here again.Franklin B.

General manager walked out of restroom on the phone with a personal call. Sanitation please! Clueless with a customer in front of me. Repeated interruption with personal text/calls. Trailer connection was by a person not knowing everything about a connection. Have used this location often. This time was not customer friendly.MICHAEL H.
Absolutely horrible experience. Did mobile pick up, could not find the van, had to go in and speak to them, they had it parked in â€œhighway advertising â€œ far from the location. Then I walk all the way back and get an alert I need the key. Did not end up getting out of there until almost noon. Then get a text that it was supposed to be returned to the statesville location despite it being a one way that I requested. I call in and they say there is nothing they can do because that specific location owns the specific van they gave me. Had to drive an additional hour back and extra miles because of this, raising my rental cost from 70 something to 120!!! Got there to return it over and hour ago, super long time and an employee instructed me to just give them the keys. I just now got an alert if was returned, making it even more late! And I had to get an Uber home which will be an additional 30-50!!!!!!!!!!!Jessica F.
