Arrived on time, was not given lock box code to get keys. Over an hour later, an employee arrived just to tell me they do not have the keys and I needed to contact another business in town to get the keys. Throughout this whole time, I waited on hold with Uhaul for 48 minutes without an answer. I also was engaging in live chat on the website and getting help until I told the agent I needed a code to get the keys. Then the chat stopped responding. Overall, I would say Uhaul does not have the infrastructure to support renting vehicles from unattended locations. Customer service was poor to non existent. I expected to be contacted after this awful experience to remedy the situation, but this is the first contact, from an automated email, that I have gotten. If your phones were answered, I would have filed a complaint. I will be using your competitors from now on for my van and truck rental needs.
