The cab of the 10' truck was dirty, inside smelled, was not cleaned or sanitized for covid purposes, windows were dirty-I had to clean inside and out prior to starting 1000mile trip. Blankets I rented were thrown inside (not folded) with the furniture dolly dropped on top. I called the location and owner said he was taking care of his other business and was out of town.

I can't think of one thing to improve the service, it was EXCELLENT! They were easy to deal with, knowledgeable, friendly, and at a convenient location. Went to U-Haul on Orchard in Boise years and years ago but will still never go back to that location due to the terrible service.

I needed to drop off the equipment on a Sunday and called this location to make sure they would be open to assist with disconnection of the trailer. I was assured that they would be open. Unfortunately when I got there the site was closed and I had to figure out a way to get the heavy trailer off my truck. I was able to get someone walking nearby to help as I am 64 years old and unable to do it myself. It turns out that Uhaul had directed me to return to another site than the one I had called and I was stuck. Very poor communications from Uhaul and the person I called when I got to the drop off location just said Oh, sorry and did nothing to try to solve the problem. It's a good thing I did not injure myself trying to get the trailer disconnected.

To save money on the return I was instructed to drop off the truck to another city and at a location that was on the far side of the city. It felt like U-haul went out of their way to make it difficult to rent from them.

I have an idea that would be beneficial for families moving across the country. I actually came up with this idea when I was looking for a rental truck. My idea is a full size quad cab moving truck. No one has one and uhaul could be the first. It would have saved us money because we could have towed one car and put the family of 5 in the cab. I think it is a great idea. If you want to talk about this further I am available at 623-824-5360 or donaldkent70@gmail.com. I also think the cab noise is too high but that maybe due to the size of the engines. Positioning of the gas pedal was very awkward.
