This is against U-Haul. I was told to turn in the truck at another location. They didn't actually take trucks and told me to go to another location down the street. All in all, it took over an hour to return the truck. I rent a u-hual twice a year for our season move to different houses. I've been doing this 2 times a year for 10 years. U-Hual's reservation system has been getting worse each year. Not allowing certain pickup locations, not letting me pick where I want to drop off the truck, and sending me to out-of-the-way locations at the last minute to return my rental. When I find a dependable location for pick-up and drop-off, they are not in the selection next time I rent.
The problem wasn't this auburn location , it was my original location , Lynn's towing, I was outside for an hour just to find out the reservation I confirmed with both uhaul and the company over the phone, I needed to pick up my truck by 6 am and both confirmed that was possible and it would be set up . I had to pay for multiple rides to get to and from the locations because the company wasn't open and wouldn't answer the phone to assist me,once my reservation was changed I went to get the truck and the truck battery died so yet again another set back to my moving process. I suggest maybe just bit better communication from uhaul and the contracted companies on hours of service and shorter wait times on the phone, I understand COVID has changed a bunch but , it was just a lot.

We are a local flooring company and our company truck broke down. James at the Frontage Rd facility was very professional, courteous and efficient. Very impressed with his service. Would recommend to any person or company who needs reliable transportation at an affordable price.
I've rented from Uhaul in the past with no issues. This time the process was filled with difficulties. My pickup and drop off location got changed the day before my reservation - which led to increased mileage. When I arrived to pickup the truck, their app was having technical difficulties. I went into the office to get assistance and was told their entire computer system was down. No one seemed to be knowledgeable about how to complete a paper contract. The representative didn't even know which of the triplicate forms to keep (common sense should tell her the original on top goes to the company). The vehicle smelled like smoke and the tank had less than a quarter tank. I was delayed by over an hour because of the issues with the computers and staff's inexperience. Which meant my moving assistants were also waiting around. The only positive part of the experience was the return, Staff was friendly and efficient.
The key didn't work so we could lock the cab, the check engine light was on the hole trip, the over head leaked above the drivers corner
Found a used cigarette butt in the side console, along with a half-drank juice bottle. Disappointed, especially as this is unsanitary with COVID precautions and safety measures.
This is the only location I will use. There are two closer to me however the customer service is AWFUL.
Everything was good. Nothing needed to improve at this time. Credit card did not want to read my debit card or my credit card even though it was a brand new card.
**Uhaul is a terrible company! Will never work with them again, I will tell everyone I know to never ever use this company. I had the worst experience, and it caused a lot of unnecessary stress. BUT the young man who helped me, was excellent. great employees, terrible service / company.
The mobile is dumb, I uploaded the same pics three times. Took three times as long. I filled everything out and uploaded pics prior to getting to the location. Once at the location I had to do all the same stuff over again plus a bunch more. When that was done I still had to go inside and wait 30 mins in line to get the key. Other locations had it there for you in the truck. It took an hour to pick up the uhaul. Never had this much trouble before.

First look at my matter. I have taken uhaul twice in three day. Both times while picking up uhaul rate quated to me is double when dropping uhaul .u people don't give exact price and charges .charges too much while dropping..I will think twice using uhaul. Please review my matter.

The pick-up and dropped off procedures were very quick, easy and simple. Good customer service.
The location itself seemed to be run well with knowledgeable technicians ready to troubleshoot your vehicle and get you in the road. The problem was the reservation website that "guaranteed" the transport trailer for a 10am pickup, when in actuality it had double booked a trailer that was out with another customer and would not be available until they returned it. I arrived at 10am and they said it would not be available until 12 noon. I went to get lunch and then they called me just before noon to say they would not have a trailer today unless I would come back at 3:30 pm. My whole day had been scheduled and coordinated with others around the 10am pickup time and now it would be pushed back 5 1/2 hours. I returned at 3:30 and the trailer was outfitted by 4:00 pm. I had originally planned for 4hrs of use, but since everything had been pushed I could only meet the person I had rescheduled with by 5pm and was forced to load the trailer and then transport in the dark which added hours to my project ans consumed my entire day arriving back home at 11:30 pm. I then had to offload in the morning at 8am, clean the trailer and return it by 9am. I work 12 days on 2 days off schedule and this 4hr or less project had now consumed my entire day and the next morning. I am very frustrated and angered by their notion of a guarantee of use. What a joke. My advice to a potential customer would be to book as far in advance as possible and call ahead to ensure that no one is booked on the same trailer and that it will be sitting there waiting for you. That's what a guarantee should be. To ensure your customers day will not be wasted because their time is valuable. Good luck and renter beware.
The location had furniture blankets prepackaged in packs of 6. I was only given one pack. The order called for 12. I ended up being charged $5 for turning in the 6 that I had been given since the computer said I was supposed to have 12. This error on the part of U-Haul ended up costing me $5 which IS NOT FAIR!!!
The specific location was great, however my overall experience was awful. I was not told until the night before that I was only getting a 20 foot truck and it was 40 miles away. That is a cruel thing to do to a person LAST MINUTE when they are moving to a different state. I literally had to take some furniture to the dump. Shame on you!
Customers that have three incoming cell phone calls simultaneously need to NOT be driving in the parking lot. U-HAUL representatives may need to intervene for safety reasons.
I had zero choices and customer reps were rude. I was forced to rent a big truck, that wasn't cleaned. there was dust and food stains all over the van. I doubt they sanitized the truck. horrible experience.
