The initial notification on how to obtain the keys was not as prevalent as it should be. Owner was condescending when explains the ambiguity of the locking process exclaiming that majority of the customers have the same issue. Truck had a broken emergency brake, tire pressure sensor beeped the entire time, left brake light was out, and it needed and alignment. The truck kept pulling to the right. Get attendant for the self serve location that take heed to the customer regarding gas gauge being incorrect once trucks are pulled off inclining /declining lot. Furthermore, ones who actually assist with issues or concerns regarding tire tracking systems indication lights being on along with message regarding pressure in tires. Instead of one who states â€œit's nothing I can do and you gone be straight cause that don't matter, just put some air in it. Gas is what I put down cause I checked it in and your picture won't change anything â€œ. Lastly, after questioning about return of the truck being at 12pm instead of 10 we were told the attendant would change that and it was never updated. STAY AWAY from this self serving lot. It was a stressful, inconvenient, non hospitable, lack of customer service I have ever received. A sewer rat straight out the Bronx / concrete jungle would have had better customer service and set the issues right. This location is in a strip club lot and makes Uhaul value decrease. I pray this is not what uhaul is hiring to reflect customer service skills.LaToya W.
I would not recommend this location unless they bring assistance in lifting a 6 x 12 foot trailer and connecting it to a trailer hitch. My goal was to rent from PS Food Exxon 600 Powder Springs St Marietta, GA and deliver to Uhaul in Garner NC. Prior to the close of business I called Uhaul and attempted to change the drop off location to the same pick up location : PS Food Exxon 600 Powder Springs St Marietta, GA 30064. I was provided the following drop off location: D O M P LLC 781 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd SW Atlanta, GA 30310 No one explained the lot was unmanned and sloped making if very difficult to unconnect the trailer. I located serval large rock to chalk the 4 wheels. The invoice states trailer was dropped on 10/28/22. The trailer was actually dropped on 10/27/22. Please change your records to reflect the correct drop date. Please have a member of your team contact me at 919-696-0017 and explain why the contract could not be changed to a local rental and reflect a local rental rate.Isaac F.
One of the tires needed air because the pressure was low and i could read the mileage on the uhaul because of the tire pressure message on the dash board. It interfered with me checking the uhaul back in and they tried to charge me because of it instrad of calling ke and asking me about the incomplete check on status.Devante H.
When I scheduled the pick up I scheduled for in person during office hours, but when I got there it was a lock box parking lot situation with no one to help me. ??? Ya know? Like ..??? I got a text to start the process the day before. I was confused but started the process. I think it was too early because when I was there to actually pick it up, there was no option online to â€œpick up truckâ€ so had to call for help. After waiting I talked with this lady. She sent me a link, and when I asked if we could stay on the line just until I could make sure I got it worked out, she said she had other people to help and to call back if I had more issues. Well the link she sent me was the same page I was on before so I called again, talked to a lady, got put on hold, again. Finally a lady helped me get the right key. This all took almost an hour, making me late for the movers I hired. I was in a hurry so I didn't notice the text I got telling me to make sure I had the dolly that I rented. The dolly was very unsurprisingly not in my uhaul when I opened it, and now I'm being charged an extra $80 because of this. Why the heck would there even be an option to pick up in person during â€œoffice hoursâ€ (with a picture of a worker physically handing you the keys) if there is no one there to help you, like it's implied?Victoria L.
