This had to have been the WORST experience I have EVER had with U-HAUL. The truck that was rented was a lemon. It broke down on me 5 times, ABS break light kept coming on and engine light. When roadside assistance came they confirmed there was no oil inside of the truck (like for an oil change) and the battery was bad. Had to call road side assistance numerous times. It delayed my moving progress for several hours. The gentleman who provided the truck gave terrible customer service. Very rude and aggressive. The interaction to obtaining the truck was so uncomfortable. I would not recommend this location. I should’ve known something was wrong when this established was running three business out of one location. Gas, auto and an authorized U-Haul dealer. How do you own a mechanic shop while advertising oil changes and other services but could not make sure the U-Haul truck was up to standards before giving it to someone to go on the road with. Please go to a regular U-Haul shop and not this location

This experience was the worst UHaul experience I have ever had. The location was extremely busy and it took me a while to get the truck. When I got the truck, the lights on the dash indicated that the tires needed air. On my way to my location, other lights started appearing on the dash. I called customer service and they were trying to give me instructions on what options I had but I was on a time crunch, so it was not what I expected. I could not stop and write numbers, I did not know the location and I was unfamiliar and afraid I would be charged so I just tried to get to my destination and return the truck. On the way home, the truck broke down on the highway in the middle of traffic. I had to call the state police to get the truck to safety because no one would slow down. The truck had some kind of power failure and it simply turned off. I tried to start it again and nothing. I waited about 25 minutes and it started up. I was able to be escorted off the highway to a parking lot on Gallivan Boulevard. I waited again another 30 - 40 minutes. I called AAA but they could not assist me because Uhaul had their roadside assistance. I called and I guess someone was taking my account of what happened but no one came. I started the truck up, pulled into the gas station for gas, and dropped off my things. I returned the truck and complained to US Gas. The truck that was rented to me is unsafe and should not be rented to anyone without being properly serviced.
Donnette MI was charged for gas upon my return, which should not be because I purchased Gas at the location. The truck tire light was on and no amount of air put in worked. The truck was also dirty with broken glass in it.
WENDY HNo wifi for checkin/checkout. I have a good service line, but a bad zone for service. Please add a wifi network and I would reconsider future use.
