I was given this pick-up by central agent claiming nothing was closer - upon arrival the system was "down" and renting the truck took over an hour and this truck didn't have my pre-paid blankets. Afterwards, I went to my preferred location and they had plenty of trucks -WTF!! After packing, we started our trip in the rain and immediately lost a windshield wiper - since we were close to another dealer, we stopped and luckily they had a repair - the people were nice enough but this truck was not ready for our trip

Unfortunately, the extra equipment (dollies) I requested were not available in the truck when it was picked up, causing me to have to pick them up from another location. This may have been remedied at this location had they been open, however on the day of pickup, the location was closed (except for Mobile Pick-Up).
Germaine KThis was a horrible experience! I have driven multiple box trucks with Uhaul several timea over the past few years and this truck should not have been allowed on the road, much less to travel out of state! I tried calling Rocky's several times to confirm my reservation with no answer. Corporate Uhaul changed my location, ever after I reserved and confirmed a Scottsdale location online. This was done very much against my wishes. When I arrived at Rocky's via Uber (after a flight) there was no manager or english-speaking rep onsite. The only available truck was grimy/dirty, had no radio, dangerously low tires and a bad engine with more than 128,000 hard-driven miles. Without another option, I loaded the Uhaul (by myself) and began driving north on I-17 in mountainous terrain. The truck lost steering and braking power as I crested a large hill at General Crook Trail exit and I almost went over the cliff! Cars and semis speeding over the hill could not see me balancing on the side of the cliff shoulder and came dangerously close to hitting me. Had the typical driver been behind the wheel instead of me, I believe they would have died driving right off the cliff. I am extremely disappointed and traumatized by this whole experience. This dealer obviously has no regard for safety and Uhaul has no safety practices to ensure their trucks are road-safe. Had I had an accident, Uhaul would have blamed the driver and not the faulty truck. This is just so wrong! Please have someone from the corporate office contact me immediately. Thank you for your time.
Jamie SI was charged 250 dollars for the truck and there were no keys on the lock box!
Kelsey KWas a small shop with no one available so did mobile check-in. Uhaul had been tagged with graffiti overnight at this location because its sitting on the street and not in a controlled lot
