I arrived at 4:30 per my reservation and the owner of the location, who does the rentals, was not there. He was out on a run fixing someone's trailer, about 30 minutes away. He requested I wait for 25 minutes for him to arrive but I could not as I had an appointment. He agreed to meet us at 6:00 and we didn't get out of there until 7:00. This put me too far behind schedule so I had to wait until the next day to use the equipment. And... he complained to his wife, who was on speaker about the people who couldn't wait 25 minutes for him. Apparently, he forgot that was me. The left brake light on the dolly has a short and was on sometimes and off sometimes.
Nancy RutterbushWhen I picked up truck gas was at 3/8 level. I even showed it to owner on duty. Drove 25 miles and got charged $75 for gas. When i returned truck, i made sure it was at 3/8th level. Went to pick up truck Wednesday, truck was not available. Website says uhaul will give $50 if customer can't get truck on day of reservation.
Mayank PatelMy original rental was supposed to be a van at a different location, but on the morning of pick up I was called to say the van was having mechanical issues and my rental would be changed to a different location, a larger truck but same price (which was great!). Getting the registration at the rental pick up took over an hour due to computer issues :-( This was the owners only rental and there were no other customers and it still took an hour to complete the online process for the rental. That was pretty frustrating.
Barbara SicoliI rented for 4 hours but end up using 5 hours. They charge me for two days. When you reserve online it says 10' truck one day for $19.99. If they told me I will get charged for two days, Insted of returning at 6 pm same day, I could return truck next day by 1 pm. Someone had reservation for same truck on Friday that this location could loose their business. Instead of charging $39.98 , cam you refund $19.99 for 2nd day. Truck only get used for 5 hours and uhaul advertise $19.99 for one day.
