VERY BAD REVIEW! There is no indication that this is a U-Haul Location. No dropbox, no lighting, no signage. The yard is a big muddy mess. I dropped the vehicle off at 9pm in the dark. There was no staff but I kept the key because there was no dropbox either. When I went to drop the key off the next morning at 7:45am there was still no staff. When I returned at lunch for the third time the staff member said it was no longer a U-Haul location. I eventually returned my key to a UHAUL Service rep! I will drop vehicles off at ALS Compound in the future.

The truck had dirt in it with garbage in the cup holder from the previous renters. I picked up the vehicle with half tank of gas and I matched it before returning and saying I was short. Normally I get the contract on my phone and fill it out myself but didn't get the opportunity.

They have false advertising. Was told rental was $0.79/km when it was actually $0.99/km. Took a picture of their price board in store and worker didn’t like that I did that and said if I said anything he would deny that photo was taken at his store. Pretty crappy to say/do that. If the prices changed why not put up a new poster…

Upon returning the truck the guy tried to charge me more for drop off time i was there 15inutes early the clerk had the door locked sitting behind the counter with earphones on long enought that it was past 1030 am ..luckily i had witnesses with me including the customer that was picking it up ..also tried to charge me until 5pm for full day while giving the truck to the nxt user i wont use this location again

Customer service is non existant. I felt rushed and any questions I had were answered with an aggressive tone. English was very bad with multiple staff. Building is extremely run-down and looks almost condemned. I only rented from here because Saturday hours were more convenient for me. Although next time I rent i will go far out of my way to avoid this "business"

I went there three times before l was able toget the trailer, booked at a different location but had to get it from them . There were 4 different people l delt with. None new what to do . They had 5 trailers on site , frozen and blown in with snow but was told not available. The one I rented had no light working so had to repair myself. Total waste of time . Should move trailers to other location in town .

On the morning of Jan 28th, I showed up to Salvage Inc. in Saskatoon at 9am like it was stated in the confirmation email. There was no truck nor was there anyone able to help me. I then phoned the help line and they informed me that there were no trucks available in Saskatoon and that the nearest truck was located in PA. I had hired 5 people and 5 other friends to move. You guys told me that the Kilometers were covered as well as a $50 for gas. It cost me 70$ worth of gas to simply drive my own vehicle from PA back to Saskatoon AS WELL as over a $150 worth of gas for the u-haul. By the time I got back at 4pm, the hired movers had to go somewhere else and I only had a few friends to help move. Not only did i pay workers for no reason, I also over paid in fuel AND wasted 4.5 hours of my time. My brother just died and we had 2 days to move all his belongings out of his apartment. This made it very stressful on top of a already-shitty situation. I was not able to move out in time and had to rent out his apartment for another month ($1500). I had to rehire the moving crew which costed me hundreds of dollars. Also, in total I put in $250 worth of gas and left 1/4 tank more full which never got reimbursed. I voiced this to a customer service again named Samathan Wall, and she decided to do nothing about it. I am hundreds of dollars down the hole after already by paying well over $600 to this shit company. If this isn’t figured out soon, I’m telling everyone I know not to use U-haul. What’s a $300 reimbursement to a company like U-haul. You’re losing a lifelong customer who owns a lot of dwellings.

We booked the U-Haul in Saskatoon. The day before we were told we had to go to Prince Albert to get it. It cost us $50 in gas for the U-Haul, $60 in gas to drive there and back from Saskatoon and 4 hours of our time. Not impressed at all! At the very least they should have paid thw fuel for the rental unit yo drive it to Saskatoon!

The ignition cover was sitting in the centre console leaving the ignition exposed. Made it a pain for the key and also for starting the truck. Have to really step(both feet) onto the brake to get the key to turn enough to turn the truck on. Truck had garbage and and eyelash on the ground along with what looked like a pop spill all over the console and floor of truck. It was nasty. The gentleman I dealt with at the location was nice and helpful.

Equipment was in very poor repair and very dirty. Morning attendant attempted to overcharge. I would still use u haul if I needed to. They provide a service and are doing what they can with what they have.

First of the truck didn’t have fuel, and truck was full of garbage bags and dust. i took it to gas station and filled $60 gas bcz the guy in the store said i will get credit. I drove 11 miles and $20 rent… still got charged $50. The guy was like i over filled tank and can’t get credit anymore. It was an awful experience.

The gentleman I dealt with was very rude and I will be calling his manager to complain i haven’t had worst customer service honestly this place is terrible well I guess I should say there is one gentleman there that should be fired and you guys should be concerned on who is representing you

The outside of the truck was fairly muddy when I picked up the truck which isn't that big of a deal to me. The windshield and headlights were covered in bugs that I had to take it to a gas station and clean it before I got on the road. The inside of the cab had garbage from the previous user. There was smoke butts in the cup holders and tobacco all over the dash it appeared that someone was rolling smokes in the truck, it was fairly disgusting but I needed the truck so I didn't complain and just took it.

Gas was leaking. Given rental with only 1/8 tank gas and told we had to bring it back with 1/4 tank. Needs to be rented out with a full tank of gas so people don’t waste time going to gas station both before and after moving. Rude worker.

Pickup location was horrible, dirty in the back, smelt like gas so badly all my belongings smelt like it by the time I reached my destination, steering wheel was not aligned and very sketchy, and to top it off when I picked the uhaul up it has 10$ worth of gas in it. 160$ right off the bat on my dime. Not to mention the guy there had no clue what he was doing. Overall worst experience, however I’ve had more good then bad with uhaul I just wanted to report this location as HORRIBLY run.

Guy behind the counter was amazing! Have the vehicles cleared of snow so the customer doesn’t have to do it themselves with there own snow brush and have the parking lot plowed so that the trucks don’t get stuck moving out of the spot they were parked when picked up

I was trying to follow the online registration to make pick up quick but it was not clearly indicated I needed to Upload a photo of my drivers license (I put in my DL where asked and I got the impression that was all that was required), so there was extra time spent when I checked it out because the front desk person needed to take a picture of its front and back.

Trailer was not maintained. Trailer was in bad condition. Straps were in bad condition. The worker had no idea what he was doing when I reserved the trailer. He had no idea what to do when I returned the trailer. Bad first experience with uhaul

Better customer service and better Maintainance of your equipment… the truck i was assigned was covered in snow If i booked online and they already know my pickup time. Vehicle should be clean and ready to be picked up And Moreover after i did my online check-in,, why i still had to wait there for 35 mins to do paperwork again with the cashier

The initial worker to helped me get setup and into the rental was very good. The worker who was on duty when I returned the rental had no idea what to do and took an extremely long time to process the return. Windshield washer mechanism was broken so I was unable to clean my windshield. On most days this would not be an issue but the highway/streets were wet and dirty. Spray from vehicles was common and I was forced to stop at gas stations to use the squeegees there in order to safely travel.

paid $100, was told it was a deposit because i paid cash and when i returned the truck i was charged another $35.58, fuel was at or above the level it was when i got it and i only used it for 13 miles when i said we would need it for 20, was told i would be re-embursed if the truck was brought back with less miles than what i needed, my friend gary painchaud went with me to drive the truck as i do not have a drivers licence, how can this be if the truck was supposed to be $19.95 per day plus .99/km, by my calculations it should have only cost me around $70 not $135.58

I did not get what I ordered, and when I appealed the payment and was told “someone will contact you within 48 hours” No call was made, and they charged the entire amount to my credit card. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

The location was not aware of all of the problems that we had. There were some discounts that were given due to poor service. The truck had black grease on the floor that got on furniture. The vehicle smelt like gasoline in the cockpit.
