The truck I rented rattled a lot during the drive and had a odd smell inside and out. On the day of drop off, the owner of the uhall return location noticed and mentioned to me about a visible oil leak (differential oil). Fortunately I arrived on time to my destination as I had a flight to catch, but quite scary that the truck could've broken down in the middle of my trip. I wish Uhall would ensure maintenance check is throughly done on the trucks prior to renting the out.
James PThis was the worst experience I have ever had. I don’t know if it’s uhaul as a company or just this location but it was terrible. My reservation I made and what I paid when I got there was more than a $200 and the employee charged my card 6 different times. The van wasn’t cleaned and was below half a tank. This was honestly a joke.

HOWEVER, how is it acceptable that your website allowed me to reserve a truck in my city and then have me drive over 1.5 hours away!?!? had to drive an extra 140 miles. just to get the truck and bring it back. UNACCEPTABLE. DO BETTER.

art aHello, The truck we rented was dirty inside and smelled very badly ... We have rented at this location a couple times now and this was the first time that the truck has been this dirty.. You may want to hose the truck inside with cleanser and water .
verla aI showed up 10 minutes early and the truck was not there. The internet was down and the people could not bring up my account. The truck showed up 15 minutes late and they still could not get the internet to work. Finally the lady called another dealership and asked me to fill out the forms on my phone. I left the dealership with the vehicle 50 minutes late. I had only rented it for 4 hours. When I brought the vehicle back she informed me I had under bid the miles and owed them for 7 miles. I mentioned that she cost me 50 minutes but was informed she could do nothing. The manager was not rude but she barely spoke I got most of the information from the people in front of me who where also waiting.

KARINA PBefore I knew about my broken items a lady called from that location confirming drop off. She seemed nice and professional. I informed her of the problems with the truck. I advised it should be looked at. I didn't meet anyone in person because I dropped it off late at night.

Kevin RThe “office” is a residence in the rear of the property. Pick up was no problem. My issue was with drop off. I told the uHaul rep that i may bring the trailer back early, and she said that would be fine. I offered to call her before I brought it back and was told that wasn’t necessary. I brought it back early, and when I called the number on the locked door of the actual (not the residence) office, the rep told me just to drop the trailer and leave. Here’s the issue - obviously, she had told other people the same thing, because there wasn’t any room for me to put the trailer where I was asked to. I had to use some uHaul equipment to move the trailer near to the designated spot.

Carla DNo office. No one would answer the phone at location. Told there was a tow hitch available and ball for their truck and Go all the way down there and nothing was Available.. Told I should have bought my Own or maybe I should have gone to home depot To rent 1 of their trucks. I Was miss led just to get my business. Found out later that they don't even offer a ball for their tow trucks.

Robin RWhen we arrived the door was locked. No one was around. We had to call the number to tell someone we were there for our appointment. When they came out they were very unfriendly and had their dog running around them. They did not explain a single thing or speak to me other than ask for a second number and then tell me that they had to sweep the vehicle because it was not ready. The entire experience was unprofessional and uncomfortable.
