The 5 Stars is for the Location, U-HAUL gets ZERO STARS. I called about a week in advance, requesting a 26 Foot Truck and was told the closest one was in Long Beach, WA. I settled for a 20 Foot since they weren't going to send a 26 footer up to my location, customer service fail! I picked up the 20 Foot Truck and in less than a mile the oil pressure dropped to ZERO and then went back to normal. I took it back to the location and the manager, who already went home for the night because this was an after hours pick up, came in and did what he could to help me. The truck has mechanical issues and is not usable. The ONLY thing U-HAUL would do for me is say that they will refund $50 for their "Reservation Guarantee" and decrease the mileage cost on a 10 Foot Truck. The 10 Foot Truck is NOT 1/2 the size of a 20 Foot Truck. A 20 Foot Truck has Over Cab Storage AND a Taller Box Height which equals MORE THAN TWICE THE CUBIC FEET OF A 10 FOOT TRUCK. That means that I had to make 3 times as many trips in the 10 Foot Truck that I didn't want, but they only offered to decrease the Mileage Charge by roughly 25% rather than the 66% that would have ACTUALLY been a Break Even Proposition. All in All... U-SUCK U-HAUL. But the manager at YuYu Mail Box is a Rock Star!

Truck windshield was covered in bugs. Took me an hour to clean up back at home. Oil was a little below 1/2 quart low so I took care of that also.

When we got there, the battery was dead on the truck we needed. Then we had to wait 3 hours just to get a phone call that we have to drive an hour away to get the truck we need. And they didnt even switch the trucks on my account.

I had a really bad previous experience here, so I was dreading taking this truck back to this location. I had requested and it was on my contract to return the truck to a closer, more convenient location. Then, the day before the return, I received a text from U-Haul stating that I should return the truck to this location. While dreading it, I did it anyway. They were great! Everything was super easy and quick and they guy who helped me was friendly and did a great job. I am grateful.

The entire experience was quite disappointing. I called ahead before dropping off. They did not have me in the system even though the address (the one listed on this survey) was on my contract as the drop-off site. There initial response, even after I called Lynnwood to confirm this was the correct location, was that "there was nothing they could do" and if I left the truck there, they "would have to charge me an extra drop-off fee." After going back and forth for several minutes, they finally agreed to contact Lynnwood themselves to work it out between U-Haul locations, rather than sending me away... It was shocking to me that I had to be the person to come up with a solution to their mistake! After several attempts, they solved it and realized that the street address had been entered correctly but the city was incorrectly entered as Ocean Shores. It should have been a Hoquiam address instead of Ocean Shores (just for the record, the location is 2 miles from Ocean Shores, and 19 miles from Hoquiam). No one their was wearing a mask and they kept wanting to talk right next to me. Ultimately solved (the man dealing with me at the end did apologize several times) but still, not a pleasant experience.

Was Not aware there was a 5:00 p.m. cut off time. This place charged us a second day charge of $80, even though we dropped off the truck on the 1st day. But, it was after a 5:00 p.m. which apparently was their cut off time. We are not at all happy about the $80 extra charge when they had the truck available to them the next day. $80, really?! Come on, that's just GREEDY.

We've used UHaul twice in the last few weeks - in Ohio & Washington. Both times the had problems with UHaul's website.

provider took over an hr. to get truck rental logged in, truck was not full of gas, could not return the truck an hr. later, even tho it took him an hr. to get logged in, using phone and tablet - said it happened all the time, U haul's fault.

1- They rented the truck I reserved to someone else 2- The fuel gauge seemed off, so I stopped to top it off, I was surprised that it took $30/ 10 gallons to fill the tank. I was only 17 miles from the rental place 3-nobody seem to know how to work the program on the computer

Location was convenient, and the guy who hooked up my car dolly was great, but the girl who checked me in had terrible customer service skills. When my reservation was moved from Ocean Shores Inn to the gas station, I got a convenient text message from Uhaul providing me with a phone number to confirm my reservation at the new location. The girl that answered the phone put me on hold, hung up on me (which she blamed on something else), so I called back, she put me on hold for over 5 minutes, then told me she had no record of the reservation and told me to contact Uhaul (which I thought she was Uhaul) and then hung up on me. As the only phone number I had on my reservation was for the Ocean Shores Inn, I spoke to someone there who placed me on hold while she called the second location and straightened out my reservation, confirming everything for me. I was very grateful to the woman at the Inn. Also, after getting the car dolly attached, the turn signals ended up not functioning for the 3 hour drive north I had to make. The wires were in awful shape. I'm surprised I had lights at all.

this was my second rental from this location, everyone was friendly and helpful. I really respect and appreciate that the staff takes the time to help me with my Uhaul rental even though they are often quite busy ringing up customers purchasing fuel or items from the food portion of the store. Customer service was good at both locations. I reserved a truck at one location and ade arrangements to pick it up early. Upon arriving I was told they didn't have the truck. After 1 hour I had to drive to the second location, to find out they didn't open for over 2 more hours. Luckily that attendant arrived early so I only had a 2 hour delay. Missed my appointment for merchandise pick up.

I had to connect the trailer by myself. I am disabled and must use a cane or a walker yet I had to connect and perform my own inspections 100%. On return a different set of employees where there. They waited for me at the retail counter. At least I was assisted on disconnect. Albeit there were distractions by the employees friends as they followed him around in a vehicle. If you don't know what you are doing, you might want to go somewhere else. The trailer was great, and in very nice condition. In the end I did get my project done.
