I tried using uhaul app for self service, which was so bad and frustrating. App was not working or not providing any message/error. Just hangs. I tries using web application through phone. That also was not helping. Tried different browsers which couldnt help either. Luckily a staff was available at the counter. Same issue while dropping the vehicle.Ratheesh J.

I was not aware of the charge for the service dolly. This was a surprise. I did not need the dolly. The rental rate should be quoted to include the dolly if it's a requirement 29.95 + 14.00. I was also quoted 14.00 for the safe move coverage but my final bill charged 28.00. I also thought the weekday mileage rate was 0.59 and weekends 0.79. I was charged 0.79 for a Wednesday. It seems like it's a moving target with the billing. My estimated charges at pickup reflected $78.22 and my final billing was $141.53. I think this is still a fair price and service at this location was exceptional. To improve for next customer, I would recommend final billing be more close to initial estimate without hidden charges.Charles H.

This location was very close to my starting point for my move. It is a well run company and usually have all the moving supplies I need, and the staff is courteous and helpful to support renting moving equipment and supplies.Jin B.

Mr foster seems to be the guy who owned the place and was very unprofessional and rude and charges me for 2days without an warning. I was just late by an hour and i tried to inform by calling before the store closing and they dint respond to my calls.. very unprofessional and disappointed never gonna come back to uhaul nor recommend .. budget rental from now onsyed H.

Amazing location accessibility and customer service. Building location is on a great area and the owners of the UHaul rental/storage facility were super helpful and nice. With everything being an e-checkin process it made for simple pick up and drop off!Kaci P.
My only complaint was that the u-haul used way too much gas. I only traveled 31 miles total over a 5 hr period. I observed the meter to keep the needle in Green.Andre T.

The self-check in was a little cumbersome at first but after I got the hang of it, it went well. Definitely good to watch the video prior to going through the rental. The folks at Your Extra Attic were good too. Although access to them was limited due to Covid, they were still responsive when I arrived and was going through the check in steps.Sean C.

First change the person at that location, worst experience ever. I missed returning the truck at the time scheduled and he called me threatening me that i was illegally on possession of the vehicle and he was gonna report me, i told the man what he needed to do, is not the first time I missed a day as i have been on a position where the truck I reserved wasn't available because some one couldn't return it on time but what that man did to me is unacceptable.Juan S.

My order was for a Sunday when the location was closed. The U-Haul app is very convenient, however, it took 30 minutes for my info to be verified. I sent 3 chats and no one responded. I called customer service and I was on hold for more than 20 minutes. The lack of response made the situation very stressful, as I needed to be at my destination at a specific time. It would be helpful if you evaluated your customer service staffing to ensure that, at a minimum, chats are responded to. Gracias.bonnie P.

I understand that sometimes your vehicles won't be perfect but this one had a problem with the ignition and was hard to start. When I told the person at the location about it, all he wanted to tell me was â€œthere's nothing wrong with itâ€. The truck was also dirty when I picked it up. When I told the person at the place when I returned it, all he told me was â€œIt was clean when I saw itâ€... not a place that listens to customers...not very nice.Camilo S.

Rude and horrible owner of this location. I called before the return time and ask politely if it OK to return a few hours later (with full intention to pay any charges and extra hour) b/c the thunderstorm; we couldn't get the move done on time. She was screaming and said it was not acceptable and she won't extend the rental contract. And she wanted the truck on time. She threatened to call police after me if I don't return it on time. Regardless who is right or wrong, for a customer service business, there is better to handle a challenged situation than screaming and threatening a customer. I will NEVER do any kinds of business with this place. I STRONGLY advise everyone to avoid this place for rental or any kinds of business. I had such horrible experience.John K.

They were very nice but I think it is ridiculous to keep everyone standing outside in 98 degree weather. I get social distances but you can space people and require masks inside. We waited outside about a half hour.Timothy G.
Covid pickup and drop off requirements are rediculous. Rental rates are higher yet the customer is required to do all the work or pay an additional $20 "convenience" charge. There is nothing convenient about the process. This is not the way to recover your business.Kenneth L.

They would not even open the door to help me. And the fact that I had to have my passport or other forms of ID that I don't regularly keep on me. I'm fine with policy change, but that needs to be communicated to the customer ahead of time.Derek A.

checking in and out with your website & App is a complete nightmare. When I reserved this vehicle the website timed out on me when I was trying to set up the account. Therefore I wasn't sure if it worked. When I arrived to check out the vehicle I couldn't log into my account. It was sending the verification code to my email, but in order to get the verification code I had to back out of the website to get into my emails which took too much time and the code had expired by the time I could retrieve it. the man working there finally checked me out so I could get the vehicle since I couldn't get your online checkout to work on my phone. Returning the vehicle was equally a nightmare. it took me over 45 minutes to complete it. The website on my phone did not give me an option to create an account, only to log in, which was the problem I had in the morning. I had to call my husband, have him create the account from our home computer so that I could then sign in on my phone. As well the website asked to share my location, I approved, but then when trying to upload the photo of where the vehicle was parked It repeatedly told me it couldn't verify my location and directed me to check my browser's location setting, which was allowed since I had already approved that in previous steps. The man working there told me I needed to sign into the app and share location settings there. Once I did this, the photo was able to be uploaded from the website. The man working there also told me that of the 5 previous people he had come to rent that day only 2 of them were able to successfully navigate the entire process by themselves. So the success rate of people being able to check in and out without assistance is terrible. Here's what's missing. When reserving a vehicle nowhere does it state that you must have an account created prior to checking in and out, it says you must have the app uploaded. The use of the Uhaul app is unclear. I downloaded it, yet still don't know it's purpose other than providing Uhaul with my location. The directions of sharing location on browser settings in order to upload the picture is wrong. I needed to provide location allowance to the uhaul app not browser setting. The directions need to be clarified to make it easier to navigate.JoAnne W.
