The location was closed when I arrived so I had to leave the truck parked outside the gates. Seemed like a good location though

Well there are many notices about cleaning out the truck, and charges. One would have hoped that the previous person to me was charged... problem... I was then the person to clean the truck BEFORE I was able up use it!

Things to improve: No parking, poor service, dirty bathroom, dirty trucks, the representative sneezed and blew his nose with a tissue and while holding it grabbed my id and handed it to me in the same hand. They have an on site cat and his food and water bowls were dirty and were not even bowls but butter containers. The animal is kept outside despite of the weather.

It was an excellent experience throughout. Personable and efficient staff. Very clean vehicle.

The people at Yorkdale Self Storage did a great job in getting a truck for my nephew's university dorm move-in. The truck was ready and available when we arrived. In and out in under 10 minutes. The truck was new and very clean (inside and out) with under 1200km on the odometer. Return was equally as smooth, in and out in under 10 minutes. Will be renting again next year spring when he moves out of Ryerson residence.

1- I chose weston location not yorkdale. 2- I reserved a Utility Dolly and furniture pads and it was confirmed. For my surprise when I got to the Yorkdale location I was informed they don't have those supplies.

The lady working the front desk was amazing, fantastic customer service and very accommodating and fast. And might I add extremely hilarious!! definitely deserves a raise!!

Make sure the trucks smell decent between customers. Horrible body odor smell as well as a feces smell.

My experience was horrible. There was not a truck at my reserved location (queen st w), I had to take an Uber 30 minutes out of my way to get my truck which put me over two hours behind schedule on my move by the time I got the truck to my home. The manager that I dealt with was incredibly rude and only adjusted my price to cover the cost of the Uber I had to take, did nothing for my inconvenience. I will never use uhaul again, not that the manager made me feel as though uhaul will care. I’ve never felt so unimportant or insignificant as a customer.

Was struggling to get the door open code and waited in the entrance for 20 mins even during office hours.

I tried to drop off the rental. There was an access code to drop the vehicle off; however, I was never given an access code to get into the lot. Luckily one of the employees keyed in the entry code, before they opened the store. Then my husband got stuck in the lot and we had to wait for a car to come in. I then had to wait over 45 minutes to close the contract because the server was down. As a result I was unable to accompany my husband to his follow up medical appointment. I waited in the store...

I have a serious problem with being asked to take a photo of my driver's license and then email it. What are the safe guards you have put in place to make sure that my information is not distributed to others or that your site is not hacked? There have been one too many instances lately of companies being cavalier with Canadians personal information. I doubt that I will be renting from U-Haul in the future if this policy continues to be in place.

We could not move in the unit. I was surprised to find out that we had to arrive before 5pm to sign a contract. I called & left a message with answering service but no one called us back.

Reason for cancel my storage unit was by a comment made by someone who I think was management or possibly an owner. I found the comment was inappropriate and unprofessional so I went somewhere else.
