Customer service was really good! I reserved an appliance hand truck that wasn't available when I arrived. It was inconvenient, because I used up over an hour of my rental time looking for something to make moving my appliances easier. The truck was really dirty, and full of trash. I had to wipe down with clorox wipes before departing the location. Also, the buttons to turn on the lights were missing. It was raining and we couldn't turn on headlights. With covid, I think there should be some type of guidelines for truck cleaning after each use.Brooke H.

The equipment was old, shows its wear and tear, and muddy in the cabin. I rented from an official U-HAUL location a few weeks ago and the difference between the cleanliness and quality of the equipment was immense. The U-HAUL location was top shape. This location is obviously only doing the minimum. Will only be using the official store from now on even though this is significantly closer to me.Vishal A.

The energy was ok dealing with me but seeing how others were treated made me want to leave. The truck didn't drive well. There was a lot of play in the steering wheel and it didn't drive good at all. The uhaul website is always down they say. I was overcharged for my rental . I declined the safe move insurance on the online check in the signed the waiver when I picked up the truck tried verify on price on website it never got to the page to confirm the lady said go ahead she will check on it when I return the truck when I came back her husband said the site was still down and they would e-mail my receipt. When I did receive it I immediately contacted uhaul and never got a responseEvette C.

Customer service skills. Especially the lady that work there. She told me when you bring it back make sure you fill it up and make sure you hear the click and that mean it's full. So I just did what she said. So I got gas and it click, she did not believe me that it click. I give her the receipt for the gas. She was like there no way and she got into a argument and made me use my own debit card to repump as again mind you it's alway fully of gas. The funny part it click on her and she kept filling it up and spill gas on the floor and it's overflowing out of the gas tank. I told her you giving my money back cuz I'm not paying for the gas that you spill on the floor. She got a attitude. This place should get no star for there back customer service skills. Also when you turn on a truck and let it run a few seconds it use gas I guess this lady don't understand. Cuz she was like turn on the truck than turn it off. Also trying to get me a smart dumb look when she put in the gas trying to undermined me saying I told you. But funny thing is it click on her but she did not care she kept pumping the gas and spilling on the floor. Cause it's not her money so why not.Christian L.
My uhaul reservation was changed to this location at the last minute. I wasn't notified of the change. The representative did not have any information from my reservation and provided terrible customer service. I had also ordered an appliance dolly with the uhaul which was not provided to me. I had to drive back to the location (30 mile round trip) incurring additional mileage, which I was charged for. The representative's response was to blame me for not getting the dolly, and lie to my wife about it. I never be using this service again.Justin S.

The woman lied and told me I had to fill it up when it only had 1/4 tank when I got it. I paid $48.02 to fill it and want reimbursed. She lied and if she does that to everyone that's stealing. I was suppose to pick up my truck in Simpsonville, SC when I made reservation. WAS NOT told that the location could change which it did the day before on Friday by text. Location was farther away in Mauldin, (we were getting stuff from Simpsonville less than a mile from original location). The woman at the place was kinda rude and condescending . Trying to run a convenience store and an U-Haul location with only one person available is not good.Kellie K.

DO THE INSIDE CHECK IN!!! I had chosen on app check in and it didn't work- said it couldn't verify me so I was waiting outside for it to work and the lady came outside and helped me, brought me inside and did my check in, she was so friendly and helpful!!! When I dropped it off the man came outside and did a quick inspection and I was done so fast. He was also very friendly and helpful when we came back a few minutes later because we had left a phone in the truck. HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOGI STORE!!Audrey M.

The first place I was supposed to get a truck did Was closed but did not reserve my equipment and was stuck there trying to figure out how and what to do because I had my wife and kids in the car and people at my house waiting on us to start loading. When I contacted uhaul (on hold for 10+ min) they told me I had to call the regional office to get it fixed. Once I got them, I had to drive to another location that happened to be open early that day (otherwise I would have had the same situation again!) . The lady inside was great and processed the order quickly. I was happy with the truck and the second location but was not happy with the first location experience and the hold time trying to get it sorted out.Ryan L.
This location isn't acceptable. During a pandemic, their customers wore no masks. The person at the desk wore her mask under her chin during part of the visit. They sell pornography where we were ordered to stand to be out of the customers' way, as we filled out paperwork. The counter where we paid was Surrounded by sexual enhancement pills. The truck we rented (during a pandemic) had not been cleaned. This was not what we had ever experienced with UHaul.Ladonna M.

Everything about this experience was painfully unprofessional. Your employees are extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. They refuse to answer phone calls for simple questions. Your equipment wasn't available at my reserved location and I had to wait for another facility to open to get my reserved trailer. Your online service is complicated and extensive. the lights on my trailer did not work. & I was told â€œyour return location with be the closest to your homeâ€, it was 40 minutes away with several other U-Haul rentals in between, but of course you charge a fee to drop elsewhere. Dealing with your company is always a dreadfully aggravating experience!michael D.
