Truck had a gas tank leak which required repair. Tank was to be full, however half was lost due to leak.
Diann ETruck was not cleaned, and the cabin smelled heavily of smoke. I had to drive in the heat of the day with the window down to breathe freely, and I have been sneezing continually since yesterday when I rented the truck. I could not tell visually if the engine/mechanical was well maintained, but the truck did not gear shift smoothy at low or medium speed, and shook badly at highway speed. The location did not have any moving blankets available that I ordered, and did not notify me ahead of time to be able to try to pick some up to move the expensive furniture we rented the truck for. The uhaul app did not allow me to do mobile check out which I had selected on my reservation. When I called the support team they were not able to help address the problem, and told me to just go inside and speak to the attendant. The attendant inside was not well trained on checkout, and I ended up 30 minutes late to our next location. The uhaul app did not allow uploading photos or videos I took of the condition of the truck when I picked it up, only taking single pictures of specific areas of the truck. I have always had great experiences with uhaul, but this absolutely was not one of them. I have never thought twice about using uhaul in the past, but unfortunately I will have to be way more cautious and specific in how I book in the future as this entire process was an absolute nightmare.

Loraine POne of the worst experiences I have ever had. I was rented an unsafe vehicle. The windshield had a 13" crack directly in front of the drivers window causing my vision to be blinded while driving from Denver to Vermont. The windshield wipers were junk. Drivers side were literally bald causing the blade to scratch/grind the glass every time I turned them on. I have taken photos and recorded them proving this. I also showed the agent the crack before we left. (Had this have not been an emergency, I would never have taken it) I was told by the acceptance agent to "let them know" about it when I returned it. When returned the agent said there was "nothing he could do about it" and he could not guide me to anyone that could help me. I was scared to death while driving 80 East for three days. I was told that charges wouldn't be placed on my credit card until I returned the vehicle and it was cleared. I was charged 2073.74 on the second day into the trip, even turning it in one day early. The agent receiving the truck, confirmed the crack and the wipers. He stated, "They should NEVER have rented this to you!" Clearly it was dangerous! However, he couldn't do anything about it because it was corporate. I would like to discuss this matter with a customer service manager! UHaul had no concern for my safety and the safety of my son who is a Veteran. Also, UHaul does not apply any Military Discount either. I was told, "Oh, we don't give military discounts"..... shame on you! I would NEVER recommend UHaul to anyone that I know and love. They have no regard for their customers lives!
Karol BI had a mobile reservation. When I got there they didn't have a truck ready for me. I returned the truck that evening, and found out that I was charged $20 for an "after hours" fee. Even though I only put 11 miles on the truck, I was also charged for 4 gallons of gas. I'll never rent from this facility again. In fact, this might be the end of my Uhaul use.

Alexander SAfter picking up the U-Haul, the apartment, we were supposed to be moving to called and said they had to push our date out. I tried several times to reach out to the location. I got the U-Haul as soon as I found out which was only minutes after I had left there and no one would answer it wasn’t until I got off work that I drove to the location And explained what happened. They still charged me for a full day even though there was only 3 miles used on the truck and no gas.

I brought this to the U-Haul attendant attention and he did nothing - no apology, no refund of some sort… Nothing! I also showed him how dirty and disgusting the cleaning Clorox wipe was after wiping the steering wheel… Same ignorance, on U-Haul attendant part! Very disappointing customer service to say the least. I do not feel comfortable referring this location to any of my friends or family

Sam HWe have rented from this location before and had the same problem, their trucks inside were so filthy we couldn’t even put thing in the cup holders and tried not to touch anything for the sake of having whatever was all over the dash on our hands. Plus the front end alignment was so bad I was driving with the steering wheel at the 10 o’clock position so it drove straight

This was due to only one person being behind the counter and her also checked out customers shopping at the mart. The store clerk was helpful enough. The truck performed as expected. The mirrors aren't adjustable. They are large though so it worked. Overall it was an average experience.

jesse sParking lot was closed and I had to park my car across the street , a very bizy street. It was pouring rain when I returned the truck . End result was ringing wet by the time I got to my car. Just didn't seem like customer service was in the top ten of considerations. Just sayin

MICHAEL FTruck interior was not cleaned out, crumbs in the drink holder as one example. They also asked me to park my car across the street at walmart during my rental (pretty busy street to cross).

Paul CLocation was dirty. First truck had such bad breaks we couldn’t leave the parking lot. Contract said we would be charged $20 if we didn’t return the truck online but followed directions but still couldn’t do it.

Kyle CI went in to get trailer denied insurance the Indian guy was upset 😭 then he said okay u liable! I said yes ok I am not going far only few blocks.well he hooked up the trailer but did not tighten it down right trailer came off on highway thankfully for the chains it caught it.but that's my life my truck I mean is not getting ur guys insurance worth taking a life...I mean that's reckless honestly I'm not done I'm gonna speak to legal help cause that was scary an life threatening you guys are so unprofessional it is not funny
jessie bGot there at 7am and found out someone cancelled the 26’ truck. Had to call to reserve again and they only had a 15’ truck. Funnily received a truck after hour being there
