The manager at this location was not enthusiastic in the UHAUL service. We felt that UHAUL service operation was not that important to him. When we picked up the vehicle. it has check-in "engine light ON". When we reported, he said us to call the UHAUL main number. We felt that he should have inspected the vehicle before handing over to us.

Charged my account more than needed at pick up. Needed to be charged at drop off
Angela JIt’s been a nightmare. I rented the moving vehicle at 12:30 almost 1pm and returned it at 4:30 the same date drove 15.5 miles and went into the establishment returned the key they told Me a receipt would be makes shortly 10 days later i get a call @ 2:02 pm to see when I would be returning the vehicle back!! This was alarming. The main office here in Tucson phone 520 829-5112 promised to call me back and fix the situation. Needless to I never received that call I call them at 5:07 pm and they told me it would be taken care of. Nov 29th I receive a $300+ charge in my American Express card and a receipt stating I used over 200 miles!! I have contacted my credit card company disputing this charge and contacted the same number I called on the 20th and they are supposed to call me back let’s see if they do
Estevan PNo one available at location. Was on a Monday just before noon. Called Uhaul to close out receipt and they could not reach anyone and finally two days later sent a regional manager to the location. Finally got a receipt in the mail. Also, not intuitive where to part the vehicle and trailer.
Chris SBetter lighting for night drop-off. Marked parking for drop off. Parking lot littered with project vehicles and a tow truck partially blocking maneuvering area made it more complex than it should have been to return truck. Return key box should also be facing street, and not on the opposite side of the building from the return parking area.

Kerry HThe person who hooked up the tow dolly did not check to ensure the dolly lights worked or show me how to use the dolly wheel strap system. A little safety and customer service is vital.
Richard WTruck was Great! The tow trailer not so good.when we turned it in they could not believe the car didn't fall off. There were No safety chains on front or back. The ratchets holding the front tire straps are rusted so bad they said they needed to be replaced. The guy who was supposed to show us knew nothing. He said it was the first vehicle he'd loaded. This could have ended in a huge tragedy I need to talk with customer support as it was a very dangerous situation, by the grace of the universe the car did not fail off

Graham CJust awful. Used UHaul many times before with great success but this location is pitiful. Picked up on 24/7 at 6:00 AM. Equipment that I had contracted for not in truck. Had to wait until 9:00 AM opening only to be told they didn't have the equipment and I would have to go with the truck to another location to get the equipment ON MY MILEAGE AND GAS. Incredibly poor customer service, Totally inept, amateurish operation. Cost me the loss of 3.5 hours of moving time.

Ramon LWhen I pulled up to the location, a man came up to me and told me I’ll take the key. He was not using any type of name tag or uniform to identify him as an employee, and he did not even introduce himself. The only thing he asked me if I had any problems and that I would get a receipt.
Luis CAgain, our service was GREAT, but the location was in a dirt lot behind a business, a little difficult to find being new in town. The young man who checked us in (Darciel) was super nice, and very professional. I liked him and would do business with him again.
KAREN GI would highly recommend U-haul maintenance thoroughly inspecting all your vehicles to ensure they are road worthy. The truck I had originally picked up was a 26 foot truck and when I got on the freeway it felt as if the right front wheel was going to fall off. It shook violently and I could barely maintain control of the truck. I am a very experienced truck driver but if a novice had been behind the wheel I can’t imagine anyone not causing a severe road accident or even worse. Luckily I was able to return to the original location and the guys there at extreme off road took real good care of me and I was back on the road in no time with a truck slightly smaller but was good enough for what I needed. They did everything they could to take care of a crappy situation.

Michael MThe truck drove well. It was just not clean on pickup. Someone spilled soda all over the center console and seats, which was not cleaned. The cargo area had numerous screws and dirt. Definitely not clean.

Ozella TWhen opening the trailer at home (I know - my mistake - should have done it at pick-up location), a huge Marihuana stench greeted me. That stench remained throughout my whole trip, even when unloading and returning the trailer. Any police could have stopped me and possibly arrested in states where Cannabis is illegal. Also, trailer was not cleaned. I had to sweep dirt out before I was able to load it. Unfortunately it was already late when I discovered those issues, too late for me to return the trailer as I hit the road very early next morning and had to finish loading preparations. This pick-up place is definitely not recommended, when they continue to hand out equipment in such conditions.

TRACY LWell...the truck was clean and ran. That was a good thing. But as I said when we dropped it off, someone, Had run into the passenger side door. It was very difficult to close tightly.

Ken HMy issue is with U Haul itself, not the dealers.. First I get a call telling me my trailer I had reserved at Truck Shop USA in Steven's Point Wi was given to someone else, and I had to drive an additional 70 miles to pick one up in New Lisbon WI. I received a discount, which helped make up for it. However when we hooked up the trailer in New Lisbon, the taillights did not work properly and we had to wait an hour for a mechanic, who was very nice, helpful, and courteous to trace the wiring issue and rewire it. We finished our trip to Arizona without issue, but as he just used electrical tape instead of joining the wire ends properly with appropriate splices, I'd say we were lucky. U Haul needs a documented inspection program to insure the equipment is ready to pickup.
