I paid for an appliance Dolly. It was placed in the truck prior to pickup, but not checked. There was no rubber tracking on the back… which makes it useless as an appliance Dolly to move things down stairs. It tore up my wood stairs. I called woods farm and garden where I rented it and was told my only was option was to come all the back and get another one because-“you get what you get”. Because I was moving and didn’t have the energy to argue, I sent someone to pick up a functional dolly. When I returned the truck I asked not to be charged for the brown dolly and was told I was willing to come back and pick up another one so I was going to pay for it. Moving is stressful enough without treated like that. I won’t be back.

Paul GThe owner makes stuff up as she goes and is rather rude to deal with. She contradicted herself about the return time just because I was an hour late for pickup. First she said I had to have it back according to the scheduled time instead of the actual pickup time and then said I'd I had called she maybe could have done something. There was no jack in the vehicle or a way to lower the spare tire if needed and when I called about it she told me just to call the number if I had a flat. I don't care to rent a vehicle without a jack and spare and why was the lug wrench still in it if I don't need it. Condescending and rude. Won't be doing business at this location again I assure you. God please forgive her for she knows not what does.
robert GPerson tht did my paperwork lied and said I’d bring it back there when I called and made sure I could leave it at another location then tried to charge me 200$ extra because I refused to be stranded in another city definitely last time using this
Frederick LThe location pin for Truck Share pickup is in correct by about 200 yds which causes you to not be able to use it because the UHaul app thinks you are in the wrong place. The pin is at the gas station next to the business. Thanks!
Trevor SThe woman I dealt with could have been friendlier, less curt. I think they should go over the condition of the rental with you and provide some instruction on how to use it if applicable.
Tony WInform next customer that 10' box truck is not designed for long distances. No leg room. driver seat is against the truck wall, and cannot be adjusted for a driver taller than 6' in height.

madou kI used a truck to move my son back into my house. It was an experience I’ll never forget! We did it entirely over the internet. Picked up and returned on a Sunday! It was great.
Jesus GTrailer had broken glass and metal rods left in it. Head of the trailer had some play in it; but overall it did the job at a better price and location than nearest Home Depot.

Tina PThis location is 4 miles from our office and it keeps the tax dollars in our county. Tonya at Woods Farm and Garden in Hillsborough, NC 27278 has always been awesome. Many times our reservations are moved from this requested location. Unfortunately, we don't have the resources to go to another city or county for trucks but your equipment is greatly needed to transport election equipment to our 30-40 precincts. When I reserve a truck(s) I request Woods Farm & Garden but many times I'm sent to another city/county. If the truck(s) is/are available at Woods Farm & Garden I would prefer that location. It's 4 miles from our office. Thanks !

Donald HThe whole mobile pick up option was a nightmare from start to finish. Aside from verifying location and confirming details about the truck, all of the other requirements could have been done as a pre-registration. It took up so much time. The app would not verify location and I had to use a browser, so that was a waste of time. And the location itself did not park the vehicle where uhaul's map said it would be. We had to search through all the trucks to find the correct vehicle because they were all parked in a compact area where you couldn't tell the size. It was also parked right beside a huge mud puddle, so getting into the cab was tricky. The drop off was easier, but still time consuming. And there was no verification that it was complete. I literally added the last photo and the browser auto-logged me out. When I logged back in it said "you have no reservations." Moral of the story, if you can make it to your pick up site after it opens or before it closes (we had to drop off after close) then just talk to a human for pick up. This was not a good experience.

Brad MI was informed by this Location the evening before that my rental would not be available due to an issue with the Van. I called the day of rental and was offered two other options but they would not work for what I needed. The staff there worked above and beyond to locate another Van and had it there before my pick up time. Excellent Customer Service on this Rental

trevor WThey gave us the oldest ragged truck on the lot. I didn't like the driving experience. Seats were torn, decals were peeling off, widows were dirty and I felt dirty when I got out. Too old.... the windows were even manual...

Carl RI could not use the 24/7 option to access picking up the vehicle but that was on me, my phone, and my service provider but I had no complaints about that at all. I simply waited on the store to open to speak to a representative. The Woods Farm & Garden employee representing U Haul was entirely pissed off that I had not processed myself and taken the truck. There was no offer to help, explain, or look at what was going on but simply anger that now she would have to help me. It was 5 minutes of anguish and trying to make me feel stupid. I'll never step inside that store again. She must be family to stay employed there.

Paul SThe female who took care of me was rude disrespectful and obnoxious. I have been going to Woods for near 30 years for rental services. I won't return. She gave me a hard time when I went in prior to pick up to ask about ball size and wiring pin. I listened and noted as She was rude to the customer she was taking care of before me at pick up time and was rude to me. Easy to see it's typical behavior. She should be fired on the spot .. or if a member of ownership should not be representing uhaul. Additionally she would not listen to the concerns related to check in. I did not fill out the text generated equipment check because of that. When I questioned the text she became belligerent. She put herself at risk of harm by standing straddled over the hitch while i backed my vehicle up. She should be positioning herself so the she can be seen in the side view mirror out from between my backing vehicle and the tow vehicle to avoid any possibility of injury. Not to mention putting me in a position of liability. She would not listen to me about where to place the 4 pin wire that needed to hang out the back hatch of my Highlander. I had to pull away and reset the wire so that I wouldn't get a door ajar All other interactions with Woods has / have been friendly pleasant experiences. Again this woman should not be dealing with the public and needs to be fired !!!
