The blanket and dolly tied onto back of truck hindered us from packing the truck to full capacity. We did not need them. We had a dolly and plenty of blanket and did not need to pay $17 for what was in the truck.

dwayne wWe dropped of the truck in Elkhorn Wisconsin (Woller True Value Hardware) later that day and they were terrible. We worked very hard at getting it there before 4:30 pm when they are scheduled to close down their UHaul operation. We got there at 4:15 and were told that they couldn't help us because they had everything already shut down. They wouldn't check in the truck until the next day, We were told to park it and leave . They were very short and not friendly at all. The next day it became clear why they wouldn't check it in while we were present; they charged us a $25 cleaning fee because they said the cab was full of mud which was impossible as we were on the freeway the whole time and didn't encounter any mud anywhere. When we called, they said if we were going to call them liars, that we should travel the 120 miles to go there and see for ourselves. We did call the UHaul company and they reversed the fee however which we greatly appreciated.

Jacquelyn SThis U-Haul location was easy to get to, and the representative was a very nice person and made it a good experience. They are always good to work with. My problem is with corporate U-Haul, who, once again, I believe is deceptive in their practices. This is the third time I’ve been told that a trailer would be at a location and then I get a phone call the day before that it’s not available and I need to travel to another city. I was told I’d have to travel an additional 50 miles to pick up the trailer that I wanted. my advice is don’t ever believe U-Haul has a trailer where they say it is.

Jennifer VGreat experience-I was worried after reading the online reviews, but I was happy the 10’ truck was fairly new and in great condition. I had no problems with rudeness of staff at Wollers, as some other reviews stated.
Sarah UThe truck had nothing but problem after problem and should have never even been rented out in the first place. From the door getting stuck when you try to open it and ten times worse when you tried to close it to the point were it hurt. Then when we tried to lock 🔐 up the rear tailgate door we found out that the lock that's attached to the back door with a chain ⛓️ had been cut with either a grinder or bolt cutters so we couldn't even secure our stuff. Next was the brake lights they were stuck on from the beginning and I told the owner and he said it was nothing to worry about that the truck needed to go in for service, he said that it wouldn't kill the battery well it did three times the first two I jumped it with my car cause it was full with all my stuff the last time when I went to return it,it was dead again and I just left it and wrote to U-Haul service and they had to pick it up with a flat bed, last item that was broken was the ramp you pull out to walk up and down well your supposed to be able to pull up on the ramp and hook it in to the holes at the back of the truck so the ramp is even with the truck box and you don't have a step up between them well it was frozen and couldn't be pulled up no matter what you did. I payed a lot of money for this broken ass truck and they still want more, absolutely terrible!!!

Trinidad ZTruck was fine but there were no digital charging ports so we could not recharge our phones. Charging ports are critical for long trips.

Matt MCommunication. It would have been a much better experience if store employees would verbally go over a few basics. I wasn’t made aware of a few important items such as drop off hours. The store assumes everyone sees the handwritten note on the door explaining their U haul hours that are different than store hours.
Joshua VBe careful when renting a van from this place. I rented a 9' van. I did not take the insurance when making the reservation as my auto insurance and credit card cover rental car/truck damage. When I picked up the van I was charged $77 for insurance and when I told them that I did not need it and did not select this option when reserving the van they told me I had to take it because the van was not a UHAUL owned van and therefore it was required. This was never disclosed when I reserved the van. Had I been informed of this extra mandated charge I would have selected a different vehicle. Feel as though this was a bit of a scam and a little bit of a bait and switch.

McKain HI've rented motorcyle trailers from U-Haul several times and twice from this location to haul my Harley and never had an issue with the trailer itself until today. This rental today had a shorter ramp of 36" tall. My Harley bottomed out when I went to load it, scratching the bottom of the bike at the top of the ramp and I could not load it. I had to use 2 x 4s stacked up to get the trailer to work with my bike. U-Haul should warn that for larger motorcyles, you will need the longer ramp or need 2 x 4s. When I returned the trailer, I noticed another trailer in the lot that had a taller ramp. I'll know to asked for the taller one next time, but customers across the U-Haul system ought to be told this. The lady at this location was excellent, though, and this experience should not be reflected upon this location as it is a U-Haul issue and not a dealer specific issue.

Courtney RThe location closed earlier than indicated at the time of rental. Also, there was no notice that there was a minimum height requirement for the 5X8 trailer before arriving. This is a failure of corporate and not the location as it should have been stated at the time of reservation.
