While we were on our way to WIngdale Automotive at the end of the work day, I got a text announcing that the drop off location had changed and that it was 3 towns away in Pawling NY. We were 5 minutes away from Wingdale when that happened! I called UHaul and insisted that the drop-off location remain in Wingdale. A wonderful person named Jamie agreed to straighten things out and we went on to Wingdale Automotive, where they were very helpful and friendly. It is my hope that UHaul will stop making these last minute changes.

There's one bar to no cell service or WiFi at the location. It was extremely difficult and U-Haul customer service was not very helpful.

We were supposed to pick the rental up at 7. Their was no key left. Had to wait until they opened at 9.

Make sure the truck is working correctly. The truck made a weird sound when i drove down a hill pressing the brake it appeared to be working overtime.

The location finder in the U Haul app was not functioning despite my phone indicating good phone service. Spent 15 minutes attempting to connect.

The location handled things just fine. However, Uhaul itself could improve. It took me 90 minutes to get the rental through. The reservation was made previously but it wasn't until the end of paperwork that a notification the account was flagged popped up. The hold time to resolve the issue was excessive. And once the issue was resolved (which was an error on Uhauls side) it still didn't clear the transaction so it took more time. The facility handled the situation as best as they could. I will give serious consideration to using companies besides Uhaul though. Resolving a flag on the account should have been a smoother, faster process or should have popped up the evening the reservation was made.

Everything was great! So i get there, probably 30 minutes after closing time, and thank god the guy was still there! Thank you Lord Jesus, bc i did not know how to work this u-haul app thing that you're supposed to do when dropping off the truck. This guy was so nice & very polite & said he'd take care of everything, so I didn't have to do it, thank you lord Jesus! He looked tired, but i understand, (long day), but he still took the time to take care of me & handle everything. All i had to do was leave the key & that's it. My drop off was 5 minutes from my new place which was perfect! Thank you!!!

The garage where we were scheduled to pick up the truck didn't open at the time that was advertised and we had to wait for almost an hour. Then they charged me for 2 dolley's and moving pads that I did not rent. When I called to correct the bill, I was told they would credit the bill and send me the corrected invoice. I never received a corrected invoice so 3 days later my boyfriend called the garage where we rented the truck and was told he had to call U-haul directly to correct the bill. He did so. and the woman he spoke with only credited the $54 and not the tax I had been charged. He had to explain to her that the tax should be credited as well, and was forced to argue the point. The U-haul representative then offered a $25 voucher for “next time”, to which he told her there wouldn't be a next time, and she should also credit my account for that amount. She agreed to do so but did not do it. I received an email with a coupon...that I don't want, as I will not be using U-haul for any services again. It was an all around bad experience with even worse service.

I have rented 3 U-Hauls in the past 6 months for business. This was the dirtiest one that I have ever gotten. For only having 55K miles on it. The floor was muddy, there was garbage in the cab still and the cup holders were filled with someones sprinkles? When I was there, the place was closed, someone drove up with a U-haul and went inside and opened a garage bay door and started filling up their tires on the U-haul they were driving. Does that mean they are using fleet trucks for personal use? Then I wonder why they are so filthy.

Would never rent from uhaul again and definitely not for the location I rented from. The worst customer service. Yelling at me in front of customers. My rental was for 8 didnt get it till 945 and lost an hour of my regular job because I started late. Yes you guys did reimburse me 50 but still wasnt enough... I lost 45. Just from my job. And I couldnt even finish moveing my daughter.. so lost more time the next day because I lost 2 hours of my time. Waiting for the truck.

Jay, the person who took care of the rental was courteous and efficient. Our truck was waiting for us, and the whole process went very smoothly (though it would have been great if they had had some moving blanket, bungee cords, and tape available for sale or rental.)

Terrible uhaul experience from the start. 20' truck reservation for 1 mile from my house turned out to be an hour and 15 minute ride so I changed it to Wingdale pick up the 15' truck then they called me when I got the truck home quest no one was there I took it after calling U-Haul and they had to bring me another truck question was something wrong with the steering

U-HAUL is the way to go. Other than a bulb go out never had an issue. The guys at Wingdale Automotive are the best and make it so easy
