Was not notified by uhaul until 345 where to return truck and it was due at 1000. Then they told me a site 40 miles away instead of the closest drop off and it was not the site I had agreed upon when initial rental done. Good phone service to change site.

I had to travel over 100 miles to reach this location since uhaul said this was the closet one with a 26 ft truck, car tow dolly, utility dolly and appliance dolly. I scheduled pickup at 8 am then was called by receptionist and told she couldn't be there till 11 am due to her having an appointment. She doesn't tell me she doesn't have all the items I requested in KY reservation. Get there and they don't have an appliance dolly or utility dolly. Had to travel to 3 other sites to finally find only an appliance dolly. Wasn't reimbursed for that time, mileage and wasted gas used looking for that dolly. Won't use uhaul again.

Our agent was very helpful and even though I went to kountze to pick up while there realized it wound up being scheduled in Silsbee she navigated even with computer issues and got us on our way !

I had intended to pick up the trailer the morning of the first day, but the lady I dealt with informed me that I could pick it up late the previous afternoon at no additional charge. When I arrived late that afternoon, another lady informed me that if the next day was to be my first day, I should come back and pick up the trailer then. When I told her I was there then only because the other lady told me I could, she seemed resentful, but glad to inform me that she found no reservation in my name. She nevertheless processed the rental, asking for my drivers license as if she was a policeman having a bad day. Finally, at the end of her computer work, she handed me the contract and told me she'd send someone out to help me hook up the trailer. He didn't show up until I was almost done with the hook up. I then remembered that I hadn't been told where to drop the trailer off, and the lady sternly explained that I had to call an 800 number to find out. The lady I'd previously spoken to had advised that she'd tell me where to drop it off when I picked the trailer up. All in all, it wasn't a very warm, friendly transaction. The second lady seemed to resent my intrusion on her private time when she was blissfully free of customers. She definitely needs to hone her customer service skills. Our entire transaction seemed to occur with reluctance and resistance on her part. Oh, and when I opened the trailer door, there were streaks of what I'd call compost on the floor, and the inside of the trailer reeked.

No signage to direct drop offs. Unclear parking area. Address, Hours & entrance not posted clearly. Staff was very helpful, nice & prompt.

Staff very efficient in Kountze, TX. They were quick and had us checked in and ready to go on our way in little of no time.

The woman seemed bothered. She was unable to offer me boxes or any other moving supplies. She did not offer me insurance on the vehicle. The truck itself was very noisy and had a bad rattle on a 2 hour drive. The truck could have definitely been updated with atleast an auxiliary cord for personal listening while driving.

When I went to the location(Beaumont) on my confirmation email to pick up the trailer and it was not available. Had to drive 30 miles away to pick up at another location(Kountze). I should have been notified ahead of time of this change by phone or email. This is unacceptable way of running a business. I will never use UHaul again and will share my bad experience with others on social media . You suck.

I was supposed to receive a 26ft truck but when we arrived they only had a 20ft truck. This meant we had to make numerous trips to move our items which in turn meant we were charged more money than anticipated due to mileage. When the uhaul employee at the location in Kountz contacted the Head Uhaul person they did nothing to rectify the situation and did not appear to care. That same weekend a friend was moving 12 hours from her home and instead of getting a 26ft truck as reserved, they also received a 20ft truck. I will NEVER use Uhaul or recommend it to anyone. I've taken to social media to advise others not to use Uhaul. I've used your company many times in the past but never again. Uhaul is a sham and poor excuse for costumer service. I could've used a moving company for what I paid making numerous trips did to having a smaller truck than reserved.

Uhaul location was 21 miles from my location went wrong way and could not turn around had to which added 7 miles because GPS had no way to charge and no way anybody can load and unload a 26' truck very disappointed in uhaul and I move once a year due to my job will start looking at other truck rental companys

The only complaint we had on entire process was that moving truck had no a/c. Made it a very uncomfortable trip in South Texas!

It isn't the fault of this location, but the uhaul website doesn't have accurate opening hours for this site. If you want to book, I would recommend you call the location in advance to double check their hours.

I drove truck to location around 2:00 pm. Place was closed. I called and was told "She will return in about 10 minutes". "She" told me I could have just left the key somewhere, didn't need to wait for her. I didn't know that. Where would I have left it? Place was dimly lighted but appeared to have everything one would need from U-haul. I would recommend only because it was the nearest drop off.

I was charged for going over my allowance by 43 miles. This is impossible. I went straight from point A to point B no deviation. The allowance was 25 miles more than needed. I will be filing a corporate complaint.

My entire pick up experience was horrible. Reserved online at seven in the morning then left Lafayette when u get to Beaumont they don't have a truck for me. They give me the 800 number to call to see when and where they will have me a truck And told me to just call every 30 minutes. So I was to just wait around Beaumont until something came up. The first call I got a rep named Bill on the phone. He was the biggest jerk I've spoken to in a long time. He wasn't concerned at all that I was waiting and said he reserved me one in south Houston to go pick up, an hour and 45 minutes further west. I told him that was crazy he then berated me sayin he wouldn't be spoken to that way I told him I wouldn't either that I wanted to speak to a supervisor he told me no repeatedly and said I didn't have a problem just go to Houston and get a truck. Then he acted like he was losing service on his landline and hung up on me. The next call hot me to a regional office where a young lady named Meagan did her very best to help me. She located a truck 10 miles away I said I would be there in 10 minutes so she reserved it with the store When I got there everyone was gone When I got Meagan back on the phone she said the store had closed for a Dr appt sorry. She located me another truck in kountze tx 20 more miles north when got there I was able to get the truck with no problem I was able to get to the things I was to load around 2 o'clock I should've been an hour into my return trip at that point. So the pick up experience in summary SUCKED. I'm sure no one will read this

Only issue is that the lady was not there when i dropped it off an again like before still very mad that i was charged $55 for fuel when i left the same amount in the truck that it had when i picked it up. She was noce an spoke with the owner of the place but was not able to help me because ahe ha alrdy charged my card. Ahe alled uhaul and said that a aream manager would call me but They STILL HAVE NOT! WILL NOT USE uhaul again!!

U-Haul needs to look closely at the assignment process. I was given contact info for a location in Silsbee...which is what I asked for. I called these people for over a week trying to make sure I could get the truck early because I had a 100 mile move and people on each end to schedule. The day before the move I am notified that I pick-up in Kountze.
