Thomas SCustomer service was excellent. It was a lot to take in as a first time u-haul driver and the location is a bit treacherous to cross the street with a u-haul for the first time. Turning the U-haul around to park it was tough as well in a confined space when I had to return it, especially since I returned it on a weekend when they were closed. But these things are mostly outside of the owners control and he was very easy to work with. I would definitely go back but I would try to go during the week when the location is open if I could do it again.
Thomas PPulled in and employee unhooked the trailer right away and moved it out of the way. Checked the trailer and was good to go.

Jingao LAll went well, except that our truck had a "check engine light" and we had to stop and call to make sure all was ok.

Leesa FIf a location has mobile pickup after hours, the machines need to be available. I first went to a location that had to use a kiosk. Upon arrival there was a handwritten note: out of order. it was after hours so I had to scramble and call uhaul to move me elsewhere. Once I relocated I had to continue the checkin process that I thought I had completed already of taking a picture of myself and adding a second contact. It was not made clear that I still needed to do those things before I'd be able to pick up my vehicle and the confirmation call took so much time to occur. All of this put me 30 min late into my pickup window.

Karen HI guess if you catch these people during the daytime, it is a very simple quick process to do the U-Haul share, but this place close at five and then they make you hop through these hoops to prove who you are and they want multiple references then you gotta take multiple pictures of stuff. We had a 630 reservation And technically did not get to use the truck until at about 730 because the prof was so long and it kept messing up and then the equipment came damaged so we could not open the back of the truck so technically we didn't get full use of the truck until about 9 o'clock

Becky DLiterally no where to park the truck! And the drop off was super confusing. It was cold, dark and raining and we could find the scan code bc it wasn't by the door like it said. I was so frustrated

Aaron CThe vehicle produces too much heat and noise. Thought the neighbors were going to shoot me for all the noise. I think the transmission fluid needs to be replaced and the power steering fluid needs changed. I guess the vehicle won't be around much longer due to the mileage. I really don't get to do all that I needed to do, for I was afraid of being stranded. We are kinda to old to be stranded. Yesterday the place was closed so I had to wait until today to move the vehicle again so I figured the U-Haul I rented from should be open if the truck left me stranded

As for the location when I went to drop off the truck at 3 pm there were 4 men there and they were trying to get into my car that my daughter was in. I felt scared and locked the truck before I took pictures. I wanted to get out of there asap. Otherwise it was a good experience.

Erik SI want to say that the woman who worked the counter at the Wilson Rd Mini Storage location was absolutely fantastic. I want to say that the Tri-Village Self Storage location was an all around terrible experience. We arrived to get the 15 foot truck at 10AM, which I had reserved a week in advance. After the individual took 40 minutes to get us checked in with one person in line ahead of us (the movers were arriving at 11AM), he gave us the gas and mileage readings for our truck. He then told us to go outside to get the truck. There was no truck. He, nor corporate uhaul who he called, had any idea where this truck was and did not have a replacement for us which was absurd to me since I just signed an agreement stating the exact mileage and fuel of the truck. They scrambled to find the truck at the Wilson Road location and promised me a $50 discount. I have since been charged the full amount with no discount. We then had to go to the Wilson Road and complete the checkin process all over again. This also delayed our movers, who charge by the hour, and I had to pay them more than originally planned. Although the service at the Wilson Road location was fantastic and really helped us feel better about the experience, we were still delayed in our move which cost us more more money. I am disputing the charge with my card company given my experience with the Tri-Village Self Storage and will not recommend this location simply because I will not recommend anyone use uhaul after this. I have used them for three previous moves, but will not work with Uhaul again as we were lucky to find the other truck. Had we not been able to, I'm not sure how we would completed our move which had been scheduled for weeks.
