The price online was different from the actual price when we paid. I was never told a price, I was just charged thinking I was paying the advertised online price

Pedro AguileraWhen I made the reservation, I asked for a pickup in canyon country, not sylmar, which was 35 minutes away. I needed a hitch, and Willy’s is a bike shop and would not have a hitch requiring another stop (where the uhaul location would have had the hitch.). Again, Willy’s is a great place, very friendly, but it was not what I asked for.

Jorge Salinaswhen I was finished loading the truck, it wouldn’t start. The battery was dead. I was still at my old house and my car was there with jumper cables. I used that to jump the truck. The transmission light was on the whole time and it felt like the vehicle was going to shut off any minute. The suspension on the truck was terrible. Every little bump made the truck pull from left to right. The passengers mirror was crack 3 ways vertically. It was very difficult to determine what was on my right hand side. This was the worst move ever due to the quality of the vehicle. I think it is insane that I paid so much money for heap of junk.

It took me 40 minutes to return, because an “error” happened after step 5 and the customer service line was 30+ minutes. Not a very safe area to have to linger around in. The back parking lot had several groups hanging around drinking alcohol.

ANDREI MEDIANTCEVI would recommend this location only if looks more visible, from the outside of whole parking lot. I had to do unnecessary turns because of lack of signs or posters of this business. I also wasn't satisfied with my waiting time while I was outside of this location they opened at 11:00am I arrived there about 10:00am. staff was very helpful when they Attended me. No complaints with this.

Steven MarkusMy reservation was moved to an earlier date meaning i had to use more than one card to pay for ly u-haul. The guy that helped us told me i was able to use the card and was able to fo this with my transaction. When we got there someone else helped us and we werent able to use 3 cards. I confronted the man that we spoke to on the phone and he said that he didn't tell us this. So since we didn't have enough money we werent able to pay for insurance. When i asked him if we can get it later he assured us that he we can get it on the friday when i was able to get it to just call u-haul customer service. When i called customer service they told he he lied and that i wasn't able to get the insurance. If i had just payed for everything at my original uhaul location and reservation date i would have had enough funds to pay for everything instead of rusk my trip without the insurance we planned to purchase. I was told that the district manager of that location would get in touch withe and its been a week and haven't heard anything from him.
Luis PerezThey didn’t provide drop off address and instructions. They said U-Haul will call, but it is very inconvenient to wait for someone’s call when you are moving your whole house especially when you don’t know when they might call, so I missed the call which is my mistake for not hearing my phone, but I think all the options of drop off could have been provided when I picked up the truck. When I check out the rental as a guest, there is no way for me to log into my account to look up how to return my truck on the U-Haul app. Then when I try to open an account using my phone number or email, it won’t let me create an account for some reason. I hate reviews but whatever.
