I only got $100 of the almost $600 that I spent on the uhaul and car trailer that I had for about 3 hours
TEMPTRESS WThe driver side mirror was loose and did not give a good view of rear of truck, the passenger side headlight was out, no ramp provided.

Gary OSand left over from prior renter, we were asked to clean vehicle again. Apparently gas was listed at 1/2 tank at start of rental but couldn’t verify was only about 3/8 of tank due to unavailability of app. Was then charged additional refueling despite the fact that we had already gassed up to level it was when we picked it up, which again was about 3/8 of a tank. Should not have been charged for this.
Wendy CGave me information when the van was returned. After two days that was authorized by myself, all other days should be responsibility of Danielle Targett. I didn’t know the van had never been returned. Please help me. I’m a victim just as like Uhaul!

CHELSEY RThe location is wasn’t the problem. The problem is UHaul confirmed a truck for us with pick-up at 9am. When we arrived, the truck wasn’t even there. The last customer of the truck kept it 5 days later than his reservation & hadnt returned it yet. We waited for an hour (causing us to reschedule the movers we had hired) and as we were waiting, someone from corporate called and tried to cancel our reservation while we were at the pick up site. Once the truck arrived, the computer wouldn’t allow the pick-up location to enter our info in because corporate had tried to cancel us. It took an extra 90 minutes to get a vehicle- which completely screwed up the hired help we had for the day on both ends of our move. It was a horrible experience!!
kenny wIf they change the dealer, instead of that old crown that works there. She is a snobby snobby woman and she acts like she knows everything when she doesn't. I've had two or three times to have to deal with that woman, because that's the only local place in my town. She's one of the local money bags, so she thinks she's better then everybody, and you owe her something. Never will I recommend whippoorwill antique store to anyone!!!!

Josh PVery unhappy with drop off location. It was over 20 miles away from the location that I was moving. Moved to Terre Haute In and there was a large U-Haul location less than a mile from where I moved but the app sent me to Illinois to drop off 28 minutes a way. The location had no lights, was a gravel parking lot with only 2 other U-Haul in the lot. Very hard to find at night in the dark. Also by having to drive an extra 28 minutes from my location I went over my allotted miles and had to pay extra. Words do not describe how disappointed I am with this experience

roy hI was lead to believe that the 6x12 enclosed utility trailer had floor mounted tie-downs that would support a full size HD motorcycle, upon arrival and trailer inspection there were no frame/floor tie-downs and ended up having to rent an open utility trailer since I did not want my bike or your equipment damage with inadequate tie-down loops on the side being utilized.
Bill DHave trucks in the town where we live. Have the size truck we reserved. Allow enough miles to maje the trip.

Roxanna WYou need to add jacks to your trailers. There is no way 1 person can hook up to these trailers. It’s a joke. 2nd time I have rented a trailer with no jack and it will be the last.

Kurt ODidn’t like driving 30 miles to get trailer when there was a U-Haul 1/2 mile from my house but they had no trailers or trucks. Gave me a extra day but didn’t need it
ted vNeed to hire some younger people to work this location. I should not be told that I have to detail the rear of the box truck in order to not be charged.

DONNA PThe door latch has a worn flat spot on it making it very hard to pull up to raise the door. The door latch needs replaced ASAP.
KURT OThe lady at the counter was very friendly and very helpful The trailer I got was not designed very well. It wasnt even tall enough to stand up I. That was frustrating. Also the 55 mph speed limit on those things is the worst design for people trying to travel across the country. A 16 hour drive turned into a 20 hr drive because I had to go 55 in a 75mph road. Design better trailers.
marlayna rI had to drive well over an hour to pick up truck. As the place was very nice and helpful I did not appreciate the hours worth of gas at my expence.
Diane CI have rented UHAULS several times over the years but over 30 minutes to check out a trailer is ridiculous. The new system is a joke. Why do they need my DL on their phones? Then the lady wanted to argue with me over a one way trip and paying extra money when the gal I talked to Thursday to confirm told me I was picking up in one location and dropping in another location (14 miles apart). Then the card issue was ridiculous also, charging a $60 deposit because it is a debit card. Then she wanted to argue with me over how it was hooked up. I pull a 8*16 trailer everyday and know how it needs to be hooked to MY vehicle. You can only twist chains so much before when you turn they are too tight and break or tear up my vehicle or your trailer which I would have been charged for. I left my light adapter on my trailer at home all my fault, but then wants to tell me I may not be able to pull out because I don't have lights, which I do get but seriously. My truck lights are more than visible and you can see them its a 5*8 on a full size truck, I'm only going up the road. I know people need to learn at some point but these ladies need ALOT more training or you need to move it to another location with a company who has more computer/trailer skills. I will never go back to that location. I would rather drive 25 miles to another location to get a trailer. Thank you.

sharon mThe smaller truck was difficult to get into in the front as there were no running boards. Might be difficult for disabled or handicapped person to get in and out of front of vehicle. Some more handicapped might find back hard to get in and out of back. I have rhuematoid arthritis and I could do it, but it was difficult at times and I was sore the next day. Truck was clean and otherwise no problems at all.
