The gentlemen assisting me was very helpful in sorting out my mistake-filled contract. He noted that the tires I had in the truck shouldn't have left Alaska as they were very low. He also checked the brakes and said they should have been replaced as well. This again left a bad taste in my mouth as I had driven this truck 4,000 Miles across the Rocky Mountains through mountain passes and down graded declines on worn out brakes and tires. Thankfully we made it safe to Colorado, and the Colorado agent helped us return the truck on our originally agreed upon contract. I would rent from their location again if in need of a truck based off of his care and commitment to checking out the truck. He was definitely the light at the end of the tunnel.THOMAS H.

(1) Tie both barking dogs down or leave them away from customers. (2) If there's an error on the contract try to fix it instead of passing it on to the customer or the next U-Haul dealer. The gas needle on contract didn't reflect what was in the truck. I asked if he would put something in the system to note the error and he said he will but he didn't. (3) He didn't have a utility dolly and didn't make an effort to locate one. He told me to go the one on 31st street. After stopping to two dealers unsuccessfully, I called U-Haul, who informed me where to go. This was my FIRST bad experience with U-Haul. The man there (Benny) can use some coaching to better represent U-Haul.VALDAIS S.

Surprised location was open and a really nice guy available to help with early drop-off on a Sunday! Website said they were closed and I was trying to do a self drop-off, but U-haul self drop-off via wifi on my phone was not working very well (wouldn't find my location) and the attendant showed up to assist. He was very helpful, although he also had a little trouble with U-haul technology.TIMOTHY E.
The guy I checked in the trucks to was completely lost. He had no idea how to check in the trucks. I was the only customer, and after a waiting a half hour, asked if I could come back in an hour to finish the check in. I came back in an hour and he still was working on it. I waited another 20 minutes before he said her really didn't need me to come back. He had an loose dog that was acting hostile towards me. I asked him to put the dog somewhere and he just called him over, refusing the put the dog away. I asked him again to put the dog somewhere since aggressive dogs make me nervous since I've been bitten 4 times. He just said he's never been bitten and the dog is fine.Greg W.
Contacted by Benny at 9:15am inquiring when we would be at the location for pick. We did have a 9:00am pick up time. When we spoke and told him we would be there by 10:00am he said that he would pull the truck up and verify fluid levels. Not sure why that had not already been done since we did have a 9:00am pick up time. When we arrived his dogs were barking and running up to us, he did not attempt to stop them. Only one dog was tied up, but was so close to the door that he was able to jump up on me. He again did nothing to control his dogs. He was not competent with the check in process. The truck did require transmission fluid, that he did not order until we were at the location. The check in process and the waiting for fluids took over an hour.CLOUD F.
The guy who owned the place was very nice, but a lot of things wasn't explained to me. I wasn't told that once I put my car on to the car tow, I wouldn't be able to get out the car. I literally climbed out the window before I figured out that the wheel will let's down so I can open my car door.Mary R.
