Luckily there was someone there with the phone number for the location. When I tried contacting the number listed on the door, it kept going to voicemail. Only thing I'd recommend is putting the proper contact information on the door since everything is locked down at the moment.

The only issues I had were that I attempted to rent & set up online, which directed me that I'd need the app, and it came across that there should be a pickup location for the keys with a code number, when I was supposed to go in for the keys. This is not a location specific issue, but an issue with requiring use of an app that froze, etc. However, my rental experience in person was wonderful. The truck was well maintained, ready to go. I had no issues through out our use. It was a pleasant experience, and having the truck helped with our move.

Have a dolly available, if it's been reserved. And then make accommodations to appease the customer should they not be available.

You guys are total jerks, you don't care about the customer experience at all. I initially requested a location in Shawnee, close to my house. I was given a voicemail the night before to politely inform me that I would now drive an additional 30 minutes to get it and an additional 30 minutes back. When I complained about this kind of treatment, I was irate and admittedly rude, but the customer service for Kansas City Traffic did not give two shits. They even threatened to cancel my contract instead of remedying the situation. This is why i will never shop uhaul again. Penske next time.
