I was given a vehicle that was difficult to reach as it was blocked by other trucks and surrounded by at least 6 inch of snow. When i asked for a different truck the attendant made me wait while he assisted other customers. I did not mind that however, instead of giving me one of the trucks that were up front, he asks me to move a truck that was in between 3 other trucks. I refused and asked him to cancel the contract. He then proceeds to say he will give me the one at the front. He ended up giving me one of the vehicles but ended up overcharging me.

Not show up 45 minutes late for an 8 am pick up time

Truck had dead battery, had to rent a smaller truck. Was not compensated at all for change from Uhaul and was only given back the extra mileage I had pre-paid. Very poor experience even though the gas station attendant did everything he could. Still an overall bad experience.

I returned the vehicle with more gas than it had when I took it. I pointed that out to the attendant and showed him photos. They charged me for fuel anyway

The young lady who handled my transaction named Shayla was absolutely excellent. She explained the entire process, worked with me to select the right size truck and the entire process went smoothly. I have had bad rental experiences in the past, but this was certainly an excellent one thanks to Shayla. I highly recommend this location because of her excellent work. I would definitely rent a truck from here again.

Very unorganized, dirty, truck was in a back lot that was dangerous, clerk inside was put off because she had to help. Also she never put on a mask which is a violation of county law. Truck was not in the best shape, should be taken out of service. Overall would not recommend this rental site

1) Personnel not wearing masks or practicing social distancing. 2) I chose counter pickup rather than self-service because I have had issues in the past with the automated cell phone process (buggy, won't scan, start over multiple times). During this rental, I pretty much had to try to do everything on my phone anyway but just standing at the counter with the unmasked attendant.

Part of the problem was a lack of communication with the previous renter, causing me to get the vehicle I reserved 1.5 hours late. Then I was charged twice what I was expecting to pay. I don't plan to ever rent from this company again.

I was quoted one price on the phone and they charged me nearly $50 more when I arrived. The girl did not listen to what was told to her and changed the name instead of adding the driver therefore I feel you haul it was me a refund of $50. Aside from that the girl was polite and friendly she just did not do as told.

I've used this location for years. The staff is always very friendly, which is why I keep coming back, BUT the trucks are old and dirty. At the least, it would be great if someone cleaned the cabs periodically. Also, my truck was missing the key to the padlock on the rear gate, which would have really been nice, since I had to stop in Baltimore City. It may be a good idea to keep extra padlocks in the office. For the most part, this location is well run, well stocked and worth returning to.

The young lady I worked with on pick up was friendly, professional and courteous. The two gentleman I worked with when I dropped the van back off were provided exceptional customer service. They were friendly, polite and extremely helpful. I was tired from a weekend of moving and they made the whole process simple and easy. I very much appreciated them both.

The customer service rep (I believe her name was Shalla (spelling?)) was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient, as well as she displayed a very positive attitude. I think we were literally out the door in less than 10 minutes with the truck keys in hand. She clearly knew what she was doing , and she told us she had only been there a week and a half. When we returned the vehicle, she was again as friendly and efficient and in fact I tipped her and complimented her on her great service. I appreciate her positive attitude and work ethic, and respect for customers. She's a keeper!

Parking lot where trucks are kept is full of pot holes. Truck had loud transmission noise. I was just hoping it wouldn't break down on me.

Specific truck ordered with hand truck and dolly was given to someone else. After close to an hour, ended up with a different truck and then had to drive to another location to get the equipment. Must say that while the whole ordeal was frustrating the lady we were dealing with was extremely nice and friendly.

The young woman handling the truck rental had to call a manager to be given the password to open the rental agreement online and was then walked through the process. I registered online a few days ago, with the promise that I'd be in my rental within minutes. I was, in 35 minutes. Very unprofessional and cost me time, which translates to money lost.

Move to a more convenient place to access and exit. It also seemed to me that my reservation I made online was altered. When I returned it back early I did not get a refund instead I had to pay more.

My friend recommended this location on West Street to pick up a U-Haul truck and I can see why. The truck was clean, the two people I delt with were very courteous and explained all the different options I had and how the mileage worked. Now I will recommend West Point Shell on West Street to my friends. I always say word of mouth goes a long way. Thank you for being a blessing.

The equipment/truck didn't appear to be clean at all. I did not feel comfortable getting into it but I did bring my own sanitizer and sanitise the inside when I picked it up and when I dropped it off . Maybe if there was indication that these equipments/truck were sanitised before rental would be good. The area where they are kept need improvement. The lot itself does not appear to be maintained at all.

We reserved a utility dolly, a hand truck and 6 pads none of these items were available. We were not notified of this until we picked up the truck. This left us scrambling trying to find the equipment elsewhere.

The vehicle was generally clean, but I used a lot of Clorox wipes to feel comfortable. Does U-Haul have a cleaning process associated with COVID-19 conditions? Both gentlemen who in-processed (morning) and out-processed (evening) me were knowledgeable, professional and efficient. Great experience.

My online reservation was cancelled between the time I checked in online and got to the physical location. I then had to wait 1/2 hour while a new reservation was created. Had I know that UHaul defines a day rental at 12 hours (vs. 24) , I would have not picked up the truck when I did. This is NOT clear and deceptive. My previous rental with Budget defined a day as 24 hours.

Weather stripping was falling off both doors so I got wet when it rained. Customers must park behind the storage lot so when it rained I had to walk through a swamp of trash, mud, and crap. I destroyed shoes that cost more than the U-haul rental. I'll rent from Penskye next time.

The guy at the shell wouldn't accept the truck an gave me the keys back was extremely rude talking about irrelevant things made me late for work an tried to over charge my card and I'd like to speak with someone as soon as possible

The truck was dirty and the employee left his face mask in the vehicle do I have to sterilize the inside of the truck myself cuz I really needed the truck so I wouldn't have accepted it all and the pricing that I got on the phone was completely different by the time I went up to pick the truck up and then I was told that I had to go home if I wanted to straighten it out and then come back cuz he wouldn't call him on the phone I'll take my business on place else next time

First, the check-in person was wearing his mask on his CHIN. The truck was dirty, plus trash in door pocket & under seat. In addition, this truck's airconditioning did not work. When I accelerated, the fan completely stopped. When just idling, the AC worked, although minimally. It was 98 degrees and I had to drive over 100 miles in a hot truck. I asked for a discount when I returned the truck, the man said NO. Being a retired Navy family, we had used U-Haul many times during my husband's 23 year career, that's why I picked U-Haul this time. However, this experience was terrible & I will not use U-Haul again.
